To summarize: He said Sony will finally have enough consoles on the shelves to meet demands in NA. They will meet their target of 2 million PS3s shipped by the end of March, finally keeping up with the demand.
I lol'd when I saw that article last month and figured there would be a good time to link to it. It is now.
If Sony does get 2 million units on shelves in America by the end of this month, and the PS3 sells twice as many units (not likely)Â in March as Feb; there will be approximately 600,000 unsold PS3s up for grabs. I got these numbers from NPD.
I will save the '6 million worldwide' comment for later.
