Yawn, just another standard week in Japan. But I imagine many are holding out on a PS3 purchase until June 12th. Even 360 sales may pick up with the NG2 bundle.

It'll boost the 360 a little, but it won't be as big as when Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery are released.

The PSP did really well. Or it could just be that everyone in Japan already has a DS by now.

You do realise 7000k is 7 million don't you? You just mean 7k or 7000.

Anywho, looking good for Wii, but both the other consoles are pretty much screwed there, 7k and 1.5k, even PS2 is getting almost the same sales as PS3.

The PS3 is irrelevant in Japan. Its F'N sad. I can't believe this. I don't know whats worse. Sony PS3 tanking in Japan or Japanese devs barely doing anything for consoles.

Looks like all the systems had a drop in sales this week. It must be a slow time right now for gaming.

Looks like this is the last week the PSP will be on top. It's been Sony's big money maker this past couple of months in Japan. It's ashame they couldn't follow up on it's success.

I agree the problem with a lot of FPS is most of them "Not all" have a very limit story. For people who care more about story than gameplay FPS are killing the gen. Some many companies are putting aside their RPGs or story heavy title. To make a 6 to 10 hour shooter. It really upset me when I finally got my PS3 only to find that there was no JRPGs out yet.

I also agree with the idea that there is a lot of new stuff being tried out on the Wii some of it looks great well others I can pass on. Can't wait for Blast Works.

BWII is a western game. Surprisingly, it seems to have done better than in the US.
