Only a frothing-at-the-mouth cow could look at the story told by these JAPANESE numbers and see worse news for the 360 than the PS3. It's not so much bragging about the 360 sales (going from Godawful to just plain awful) as it is pointing out the sad reality for the former King of "Sonyland."

My problem is if the 360 has the games; which it always had why does Japan still not support the 360. Oh well. As long as I continue to get games I will not care.too_much_eslim

Its sad that despite MSs efforts, Japan continues to ignore the system. Heck we arent expecting it to be the Wii, but if it manages 5k a week for the rest of gen then its mission accomplished for MS. One of the problems is that the most retailers dont carry the system, its only the bigger ones in busy places. If they hit 2 million units (stretch i know) then it could become the ultimate hardcore system there

Its getting loads of arcade ports as it is because smaller devs are finding it easy to work with, but heck the Dreamcast with that userbase got arcade ports all the way in 06, and IIRC in 07.

Anyway, lets not get ahead ourselves, Sony will be back to creaming the 360 when WKC and FF13 come out
