I don't think this will last a week.

does this mean the hardcore lemmings will love japan more...?tiger35010i hope not, i hope they'll love everything the same, like a hippie :D
The reason being that they undershipped the consoles. I think they are doing the same type of marketing that Nintendo does far too often in undershipping their products in order to increase interest.BumFluff122
Or they weren't selling so to cut losses they shipped less.

same thing. Regardless it is a smart thing to do both for Nintendo and MS.[QUOTE="Hewkii"]so...the first shipment is finally gone.Gamer556
Exactly what I was thinking.
If that is indeed the first shipment: think of all the RRODs.
Anyway, Tales of Vesperia is really underrated in the US. That's the only reason those 360's sold. Hopefully Namco can extend its fanbase a little in the states by having its game on such a popular US console.
There only buying 360 because of Tale of vesperiawu_tugu
That game isnt really that good, i dont understand:|

I disagree.
Probably has something to do with that sales spike last month... if one exclusive JRPG did that, what will happen when the next two exclusives are released?Phazevariance
Actually, that was last week. Media create and famitsu track weekly sales. Plus, once those other JRPGs hit, it'll only cause spikes and not much else.
um...the 360 never sold very well so it looks like stores never bothered to stock stores full of 360. since vesperia released the 360 got a boost in sales but it seems like a fake shortage in the making. i mean ms did this before in january to explain the 360 sales in america. the 360 sold 26000 good for ms but compared to other consoles this isn't that great.sireclaborn
Wow, I didn't know this. Icould not possably understand than even though the system was not selling well in japan since lannch. Nor the fact that you the 100th person to bring that up.
Come on, do you seriusly think the enyone one would have a massive stock of what dose not sell??? RIGHT NOW THE 360 IS SELLING WELL IN A PLACE THE IT DID NOT DUE TO A VERY POPULAR GAME. And it has 3 more games coming up that will sell well.
Last time I checked selling systems and game at a high ammout = good. It ever out sold the ps3 last week and it looks like it will happen next week. Microsoft finally has a strong japanese line up.

what are you taking about. really... this is not the first time this happen. i admit ms seems to be doing something right in japan but this really only happens once in a blue moon its not like ms is going to dominate japan anytime soon. and in reality 24000 is only a good number for the 360 its above average for the rest.
As soon as Tales of Symphonia 2 comes out on the Wii Japan will forget all about the 360 and Vesperia.rhaigun
it came out back in like june :| Japan didnt notice it at all very much :|
Vesperia reach half of Symphonia 2's sales in a week
