I'm thinking 1.5 million for Nov/Dec worldwide.

Seriously, Monster Hunter 3G, Mario Kart 7 in December is going to be very interesting.

I'd like to see more 3DS titles in the top 20, but it will pick up with MK7, Tekken 3D, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, Heroes of Ruin, Resident Evil, Kid Icarus between now and Spring in Japan.

I'm calling 425k in Japan for November, and at least 400k again in December. That should (with NA/EU) put the 3DS around 11-12 million units worldwide before new years day, and about 15 million by the time its 1 year birthday comes up.

How much did the DS sell between November 2004 and November 2005?

Too many fighters that cater to them for them to bother with something like MVC. Gundam VS games for instance are insanely popular, so is tekken, VF, KOF, SF4, BB, AH etc etc. At that point I'd say there was little to no room for a game that doesn't cater toward their tastes.

Sorry Andriasang confirmed it NNK sold only 40% of its stock ouch evn Atelier and Gust games do better than that.

It's really quite interesting to see MW3 on top in Japan. I thought Japanese gamers had an aversion to modern warfare-type FPS. Guess I was wrong.

Wow I mean Call of Duty MW3, Battlefield 3, Halo and Saints Row 3 is on that list? I always thought that the Japanese gamers hated those types of games. I guess I was wrong then :P

As for Modern Warfare 3, its high sales in Japan may have to with its connection with Square-Enix and the fact it is subtitled in Japanese. Dubbed versions of foreign-made games sell less copies than subtitled versions.

There is 2 versions in Japan of most western games subbed and dubbed this one is suubbed (Usually Subbed games sell way more than dubbed ones).
