Power is not the only or main reason the PS4 is winning. Unless Sony really messes up the PS5 launch don't expect Xbox to suddenly starting dominating the US again.

Plus how can Microsoft guarantee they have the most powerful console unless they know exactly what Sony is doing? The only way to do that is become a loss leader again and they don't seem to be interested in losing money on Xbox any more.

The Xbox One had less power because a lot of resources had to go to Kinect. Now I don't think the next Xbox is going to have a motion controller.

It's less powerful because it was an "All-in-one-entertainment-system" and never strictly a 'games console', it has cable box capabilities for god sake lol. Kinect was only part of the problem.

PS Vita is a pretty good handheld in Japan, because it has all the games that they aren't localising to us filthy Westerners.
