Definitely. It's got a Singleplayer with an awesome story(HL) and puzzling gameplay(Portal). If you like intense MP, then you can't get any better than TF2.
TF2 is in there so I'd agree. The rest I don't care about since I have played HL2 and E1. I don't care about E2 because I HL2 and E1 were a bore to me. I might try the Portal game down the road.
I bought it off Steam on Thursday. Portal and HL2 finished downlaoding this morning, and TF", Episode 1 and 2 are almost finished. HL2 and Portal ahve been great thus far.
The ending of portal is worth the entire orange box to me. :P
I do believe TF2 should indeed have dedicated servers, Valve games usually do. I don't play it much, still going through HL2 to get story all at once. :P
I may get it tommorow.. Between Bleach: Shattered Blade and this, I probably be busy.. Don't forget my goal of completing every games I own.. Pff, I need a dry month to catch up, with such games like OB and so coming, its not fair.
PS:Sorry I didn't get to tell you that I had gotten it when you asked me on Xfire, I was playing it and Xfire didn't detect it so I couldn't talk to you. And I haven't gotten World in Conflict yet.:(
That's definitely untrue in my case, as I basically only play the best of multiplayer games. And no, TF2 is not that great. Already have HL2 on computer, waste of money, should have just bought CSS seperately.
I don't. That comment doesn't make sense, they are actling like it's multiple different types of games all packed in one. In reality they are just mods/expansion packs or whatever you want to call it. You are not bound to find something you like because everything in that pack is and feels HL2.
Getting it for TF2 and Portal, like most of You. Well i have never played a Half Life... and i don´t really like what i saw of the game so far. Don´t really understand why people love it as much... but i am very aware movies and shots don´t tell You everything about a game. Could be the story, or whatever.
GOTY for me. SP, including HL2, EP1, and EP2 are by far the best FPS SP to date.
Portal was also fantastic, Valve is possibly the only developer that could give a puzzle game atmosphere, life, and a plot twist. Win win for anyone that likes great games. If you hate great games, OB isn't for you.
I got it the day it came out Oct. 10th and I have been playing it non-stop since then well not really non-stop but almost and there isn't anything that I don't like in the game, I never played Half-Life series before I got the Orange Box but I can't wait for Episode 3.
I already had and played HL2 and HL2:e1 (but don't feel ripped off with the OB), so I won't count them. But Episode 2 and portal are great. And if you wish to know what I think about Team Fortress 2, just check out my Xfire sig. ;)
