JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD

So apparently Capcom is gonna re-release JoJo's Bizarre adventure for the PSN and XBL in August for $20... the game's cool but I don't know if I'd pay $20 for a game from 2 gens ago.

Dang, I love that game! Hard as crap, but good to know that just about all of the Arcade Classics will be on my PS3!

I think it's cool for the games to be re-released on current gen consoles for people who would otherwise never have gotten a chance to play it. It'll die faster than 3SOE did, and it doesn't seem like it'll have GGPO either, but it's still somewhat cool. It not being Street Fighter and the game being really hard to play probably won't help it's userbase.

I might get it. Learn Dio, Kakyoin, and Petshop. Be cool and stuff.

It'll die faster than 3SOE did, and it doesn't seem like it'll have GGPO either, but it's still somewhat cool. It not being Street Fighter and the game being really hard to play probably won't help it's userbase.

Yeah, it's cool they bring it, but all my excitement went down the toilet when I saw the pricing... game's cool but I don't know if it's cool enough for today standarts. Look at other games from the PS1 era, they aren't more than 10 bucks.

In all honesty, I'm on the fence since I do have great memories for this particular game.

It came out the same year 3S did. Other games from the PS1 era also didn't receive an HD touch up with online compatibility. I do think it shuoldn't have been beyond $15 though.

lol it's not just fighting though... IIRC there's other sh!t to do, like baseball and poker and other ways of defeating your opponents (the story mode of course)

What sux more is Capcom didnt even bother bringing Rival school PS1 classic outside Japan xx I had to. import a japanese psn card just to rebuy this masterpiece I'm dying for a rerelease of Rival school DC version on PSN since I left my dremcast back home but sadly seems that wont happen.

So 2 JoJo's games to look forward to, kinda. Unless it's been confirmed will the Namco one come stateside?

It's definitely worth $20. I've been waiting for this. I'm glad to hear it. I wonder if they'll throw in the anime as well.

Its 20 bucks because its going to sell poorly. They are aware pf this.

Very low chance of that happening,

1.) It's Namco Bandai

2.) Jojo doesn't have a huge audience in the west with only one arc coming over

3.) It covers 7 arcs, and as I said only one has been released in the US

4.) They would need to change a lot of names due to licensing problems

People acting like $5 more than other games is such a terrible thing are pretty stupid.

Buying the lisense again to re-release a game that's going to sell poorly should warrant it being slightly more than their usual OE for games.

That said, this won't have GGPO. Not worth it.

It's a good game though, and you CAN still play it on GGPO.
