Joystiq.com: Black Ops 2 multiplayer is really REALLY good

The joystiq staff have took sometime to write their personal favorite games they got to play during E3 and one interesting insight was that one the staff mentioned Black Ops 2 ( multiplayer ) was really good and just unlike anythng been done yet by the franchise.

looks like Treyarch is trying to make something truly awesome that havent been done before, The king of FPS is at it again to impress us all and i cannot wait for November!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (Multiplayer). For the purposes of judging, I had a chance to play the multiplayer. I can't say a thing about it, but it's really, really good. Sounds like a cop out picking something I can't talk about, but seriously folks, Treyarch is really trying something here that could bring some detractors back to the franchise.

DmC: Devil May Cry: To be fair, I came into E3 with DmC already pegged as my favorite game, but having finally played it and seen a more extensive demo, my intuition has been justified. Dante is gorgeous. Er, I mean, DmC is gorgeous, like, the art style and stuff. Sure. But really, the liberties Ninja Theory has taken with the Devil May Cry franchise are entirely valid and have created a new, yet familiar game, complete with neon colors and a new Dante who can kick ass as well as any of his white-haired ancestors.

DMC best looking game of 2012 confirmed? Also he notes that other games could be better :lol: Fail finalstar fail. Also way to selectively choose your statements. :lol:

I didnt say it wasnt an opinion, everything is their own opinion but i shared this guy's opinion on black ops 2 because we havent seen anything from the game yet in regards to the multiplayer while DMC we all saw the game and how it plays thus we are able to conduct our own opinions. we havent seen BO2 online in motion yet and is why we can only base it on this dudes opinion, looking at the past CoD games i know this will be as addicting as the past games.

This is assuming that gamers will pick one over the other, black or white, when really the fans of each will buy their respective game with some overlap.

I will say that it's RIP Medal of Honor Warfighter, but that's hardly a fair competition.

Unless they update their engine I'm not going near the CoD stank ever again. Not after experiencing the beauty of BF3 in all of it's glorious next-geniness.

I really enjoyed COD4, and Blops to a lesser extent, and the new MP mechanics sound genuinely refreshing. Consider me hyped. Once again, COD leads, and all else follows!

Lets just have a reality check here. Lets forget anything we've seen of BO2 and lets forget what any previews are saying about either the sp or the mp. Lets just look at this one fact. Even if BO2 was the most amazing FPS ever, in either sp or mp, the pretentious gamers that dwell on the internet would never admit it. It IS popular to hate on COD on the internet. That is a fact. COD haters will always be there in full force, no matter how the game will turn out. There is a real snobbish attitude towards the COD series. That attitude will be there until the series dies or completely loses its popularity, no matter how good the games will turn out. It's a sad truth. With that said, I've personally been undewhelmed by what I've seen of BO2 so far.

I doubt it. Reviewers are always paid to call COD's MP good, and yet every year it's a piece of crap.

That's the nostalgia talking. BF3 decimates all other online shooters including the older classics. It's the perfect evolution of everything that's come before it, and it's set a new benchmark in graphics, sound, physics, and gameplay.

Call of Duty is a no more for me. I would rather to stick with quality games.

It also set a new low for netcode, performance, and polish. BF3 is one of the glitchiest games I've ever played. It has some seriously loose coding.

Bleh, the netcode isn't any worse than in most other shooters these days. I rarely have problems with lag and hit detection. If you want to see bad netcode play Crysis 2's multiplayer. Not every game can play as flawlessly as Resistance 2 (which has also gone to crap, last I played).
