Strange. Doubtful.
It sucks that video games always take the brunt for this kind of crap. Why can't they find a new scapegoat?

It's pretty easy to pass on responsibility to something that can't complain about being blamed.

....Link is about EA laying off workers.
Gamers are extremely naive to think that games don't influence their behavior.
Don't believe me? Don't believe Jack Thompson? Think about how utterly stupid and pointless it is to be a single system fanboy. Fanboys have been disillusioned and swayed by their consoles video games into trashing other systems both publicly and over the internet which does not benefit them in any way, shape or form...
I think you gave the wrong url.BumFluff122
this, the url doesnt lead to the article, but theres a link to it on that page.
on topic... though games like GTA may have influenced the way he did those things, it doesnt make the game responsible..
in the end, the person knows right from wrong, and he has the ability to choose his actions. its not like games brainwash people into raping women.. he knew what he was doing and he knew it was wrong.
i dont see any games about child molesters, then how come there are child molesters in real life????
non-gamers can never understand this kind of stuff... its like their argument that shooting games teach kids how to aim real guns.. pathetic
anyone who does things like that clearly has mental problems. any sane person can play a violent videogame and not let it affect the way they act.

And do you sir have concrete proof?
Sure there have been studies, links to cases, whatever.
I however believe there is some influential behavior when it comes to the media in general. Not just games. I think people are just naive into think games are the only source of influential media when ironically it is the media itself that is very influential on its people.

thats an awful argument... you really think that games make them hate other consoles?
true, fanboys trash other consoles, but the games they play have no influence on that behavior whatsoever. they do that because they want to "prove" that the system that they own is the best...
