BUt when will the 360 finally out sell the PSP? do you guys think this month the 360 will finally over come psp. well we should all pray tonight and hope 360 finally out sells the psp. mazdaspeed-rx8
This month the PS3 will sell more than 360.
Why bring up PSP? It's a current gen handheld console so it's selling alot. GBA is last gen b/c of the DS. That's why people bash the PS3 for not being able to beat a last gen handheld that is not selling a lot.
BTW, PS2 doesn't count b/c it's the 3rd best selling console on the planet. Not a lot of ways to beat that.

Haha, good luck with that one. That's clearly one thing that's definately not going to happen in the next NPD.
you wanna bet on that?
Don't get cocky
the PSP is a flop handheld that couldn't even outsell the GBA a few months ago, it will no doubt get a slight surge from the redesign but after that it's failure city
hey im not gettin cockey. im just asking when is the 360 going to outsell the psp. sounds like to me, you guys are taking this to serious.Don't get cocky

Ok. Is PS3 beating the PSP? Don't bash 360 for not being able to do something the PS3 can't do.

Urm, yes actually. That would be a very safe bet. Unfortunately, you aren't allowed to bet accounts (I've tried before).

Ok then
it probably wont outsell the PSP anytime soon, but it should eventually
The PSP will probably be dead within a yearThis question can be compared to "When will the Wiioutsell the DS?".EponiqueThe Wii will never outsell the DS.

Well with no-one buying the software and the DS owning it tenfold i doubt it's going to be around much longer, especially with the dwindling developer support
you cant compare it like that...the PS3 is getting beat by a game system that is no longer supported (GBA). The PSP and DS are getting heavy support by either company. Also...the PSP is out selling the PS3.hockeyruler12
The PSP is getting crap support, almost all developers are abandoning it
uhh maybe I missed something but the psp has been selling well for almost a year now.
When it falls to gamecube/dreamcast like numbers then I'd consider it a flop system. It also has been outselling the precious 'we've sold 11 million units' 360 month to month for almost a year as well. The only brand kicking its butt is nintendo... and guess what their numbers dwarf all other units in EVERY aspect of handheld and console gaming so I don't think you can define the psp a flop due to sales unless you throw 360 right up there with it on the flop pile since its not number one in sales and will soon be passed by the empire.
Argue all you want but the psp is doing much better than a hand held normally should vs. the handheld empire that is Nintendo.

Well developers are abandoning it, the hardware is a joke, no-ones buying the games and it's getting owned 10 to 1 by the DS. So yeah, i would call it a flop

People are saying that since October of last year. Check the PSP's coming soon section, there's a lot of great PSP games coming from major third party publishers. The DS may be outselling it but that doesn't mean the system is a failure.

Umm actually they arn't... the lineup for 2007-2008 looked better than the stuff I can buy for my DS. You can argue that the titles don't have 'mass appeal' because there are very few child friendly titles slated, but the release list is as good or better than the DS's depending on your tastes. Its true there is a shortage of creepy witch toucher games for the psp so I'm afraid the DS has the PSP beat on that genre.

Too bad PSP owners don't buy games.[QUOTE="lazurusKfP"]uhh maybe I missed something but the psp has been selling well for almost a year now.

You can call it whatever you want but I'll be playing MH2, brave story, silent hill while DSfanboys can collect pokemon and touch witches, and I'll tell you I'm glad there is a system barrier between us hehe. The psp took a share of the market and still is selling pretty good for a 'flop' system, and as such DS fanboys will be up in arms for some unknown reason.
