ALSO: for the lemmings who say SE said they had no current plans for a ffvii remake.. this announcement wouldnt be big if it wasnt surprise so SE could have changed their mind and decide to make the remake..turning big heads.

:shock: I hadn't considered that. That type of announcement would certainly cause the reaction Sony is promising.

I'm still betting it's Killzone 2 though.

"Square-Enix's Tetsuya Nomura has revealed that there are currently no plans for a remake of Final Fantasy VII on the PS3. Nomura stated in an interview with Japanese publication Dorimagi that "it appears that there are often overseas rumors like 'Are you currently developing a VII remake?' My apologies, but were absolutely not making (such a game)."

it wouldnt be a big announcement if it wasnt a surprise so they could always change things up and change their mind

it must be a new game ala(littlebigplanet) we are getting not killzone 2, ffvii remake, etc here is the full insert.

     As I was listening to a podcast off of Allgames.com and they were talking about something big that is going to happen and its going to be big. they also said " This game is going to be something Xbox fans could only dream of." I don't know about you but if this true this could be a MAJOR game changer. I analyzed the commentary... Here are the quotes " I can tell you this.. On June 11th playstion nation will be smiling wide" because they are gonna have something the 360 people can only dream of" " and it was real time!!! ...real time im tellin ya!! what we saw...we've been sworn to secrecy" .. Now i know its only 2 quotes but... what i take from this is...  1st maybe SoNY is unveiling a new game... 2nd  the game will be exclusive..??? 3rd maybe new footage of killzone or another franchise with unbelieveable graphics... and 4th sony has finally ponied up and gotten a big time franchise exclusive What do think?? listen to the podcas first its toward the end about 3quarters of the way... sounds like it will be big.. but who knows ive been wrond in the past .. .. .. .. .. .. I highly doubt that but I'd love that if it were to happen.

I think it'll be a new game announcement, or maybe screens of an anticipated game like GT5 or GOW3.

Duh... Square Enix *already* ruined Final Fantasy VII with Dirge of Cerberus and Advent Children. With the upcoming Crisis Core, they'll have fully spit in its grave. I think their next project is going to be to find a way to remake or otherwise ruin Chrono Trigger...

If anything an FF7 Remake, Killzone 2 Blow Out, Shadow of The Colossus 2, or RE5 Exclusive would be some major news in my mind.

I hope so, Ive recently decided to get a PS3 (might as well own all 3) and that would be my first purchase. Im currently playing through the original for the first time. Aerith just died, wish that spoiler wasn't already out of the bag 6 years ago. Still though I don't know the story but so far on disc 2, great game. 

It's NOT Killzone 2 people!  I've said this like twenty times today but everyone keeps ignoring me. If anybody had actually listened to the podcast where this news first came form, they would've heard the host rambling on about how KZ2 had better be on par with the trailer, or else he'll turn back to Sony.  Why would he go through all that, and then just minutes later say that KZ looks like the e305 trailer in real-time?  He wouldn't.  It's a different game he's talking about, people.

Also, Phil said at GDC that KZ2 wouldn't be officially unveiled until e3 this year.

It could be Shadow of the colossus 2, but they said it was a huge anouncement. It could be Ninja Gaiden 2, exclusively for PS3. that would put a big smile on PS3 owners faces, and make 360 Fans very upset and envious. I would probably not come on here for a while though, cause System wars would completely lose control if that were to happen. Fanboys from both sides would be going at it for days :lol:

EDIT: on second thought, I would come on here, because there would be so many funny comments, it would be quite entertaining.
