I'm going to guess Lower numbers for the DS and the Wii (something like 500k and 400k respectiveley) Lower for the PSP (freaking thing has been practically sold out everywhere for the last 2 months where I live, so 180-200k) Ps2 lower as well, 200k, 360 maybe a bit higher, 230k and Ps3 115k, GBA at 70k.
I have no idea why I even threw out those numbers, I guess sometimes it's fun to pretend like I know stuff.
Well!!! The price drop did help boost PS3 past the 100,000 mark!!! We'll wait and see when the real numbers are release!!!FireEmblem_Man
The price drop isn't reflected in the June numbers. They run thru July 7th.

i bet when the real numbers come in ps3 numbers will be higher and 360s will be lower. only 3 days until the official numbers.
Nintendomination
psp doing suprisingly decently....
DS and wii going strong with few major releases this year....

Yeah, I do not get it...what are all these people playing? I sold my DS last year due to crappy games, and my Wii collects dust until Monday when we check the VC...

they are pulling in casuals and non gamers they only need 1 or 2 new games every few months.
[QUOTE="thirstychainsaw"]:lol: I was right, PS3 outsells GBA!Redfingers
Price drop happened *last week.*
Price Drop happened in July, not June.

Those pathetic arguments hold no water in the real world, those non-gamers will turn into gamers who will be faithful to the company that brought them there.[QUOTE="amtentori"]Nintendomination

Non gamers playing non-games.
I wonder what the top selling software will be? I'm guessing either Pokemon, Big Brain Academy (maybe), or Ninja Gaiden.REVOLUTIONfreak
Mario Party 8. It sold some 300 thousand+ units the first week of June alone.
PS2 and PSP continue to outsell XBox 360.Redfingersif you want to include all platforms, windows outsells the entire list combined. the 360 is over doubleing the ps3, and after a price cut will dominate. in december the 360 will out sell the wii and ps3 combined, and in november and december i expectthe ps3 to out sell the wii as long as the 60 gigs are still avalible. the wii production problems are going to hurt them severly this christmas. i expect the 360 to end the year with an install base over 20 million. the wii about 10 million, and the ps3 about 5 million. and after the price cut the 360 will out sell the wii every month next year. the wii will begin out selling the ps3 again in january.
next month shoukld be interesting. fuiirst month with the PS3 price drop and after the E3 announcement. But yeah, not expecting much of the Ps3NorthlandMan
At E3 Sony said that the price drop made their sales double for the first week. Even if that sales trend continues it still won't even outsell the 360 this month.

That post is so wrong it's not even worth responding to.
Next month, when July's numbers come in, PS3 is going to see a big surge from the price cut.Timstuffyou mean the cancelation? any sales will be limited. it's still the highest priced and eventually they will run out and the discontinued product will have sales of 0. how many 20 gigs sold last month? when you bragging point is a cancled product you are in trouble. sony - going bankrupt.
People actually like the PSP. Just not enought to touch the monster that is the DS.Nintendomination

Sony has shipped close to 6 million PS3s world wide. When the 60GB stock clears out, that automatically puts PS3's established number up to around 6 million.
PS2 and PSP continue to outsell XBox 360.Redfingers
You can change the subject and hide behind the PS2 all you want. 360 is still selling better than PS3.....by 2:1.
As expected.
And these are June estimates. It means the effect of the temporary price drop has yet to be seen. We have to wait longer to see that effect.

Those pathetic arguments hold no water in the real world, those non-gamers will turn into gamers who will be faithful to the company that brought them there.Actually, many of the gamers pulled in by the Playstation systems probably aren't going to invest in the Playstation 3 system anytime soon. People are not faithful to a company if that company fails them.
