Just bought a PS3 a few hours ago...

No more lemmingism (lemmingism?) for me! Now its going to be Cowish Lemmingism!

Anyone else buy one since the price drop?

LOL i was 99% sheep back then, and after i bought a PS 3, i guess i'm 50% cow 50% sheep now.

i bought one day after sonys`s e3.

my friend and I bought a 360 together he paid for most of it so teqnically it is his but we share it, its great love it

I bought a wii about 3 weeks ago, for my sis who was in europe so I saved up and bought us one so we could play games together.

And just about an hour ago my parents bought me a PS3 becuse they made a deal with me if I lost a about 30lbs they would buy me one well I got close but they bought it because I heard about the statment sony made about the 60gb i really dont want the 80gb.

I am happy that I own the Wii and PS3, and I love playing the 360. I am pumped for the comming line up of Sony, Nintendo and MS

BTW my interest was not peaked by the price drop. I might buy one when RE5 comes out, then snatch up whatever games have become cheap by then. I mean, even at 500 bucks you still need a second controller (atleast) then 60 bucks per game and 30 per movie... I have to EAT; I just can't throw that kind of cash around.

I'm perfectly content with my Wii, Upconverting DVD player, and PC perfectly capable of playing most highend games (which is a business expense).

i got the Wii for heating up (GYM), PS3 to watch br Movies, Xbox 360 to just have fun with all those GAMES

I have one in my room about two feet away from my feet, but its not mine. :( And i won't be able to use for much longer.

So no i don't have one, but i REALLY want to get one.

Hey good for you man.... I myself was overweight, and still am a little, but its a work in progress. But I've lost 40 lbs. so far and going strong.... just through not giving into temptation when it comes to food and hitting the gym everyday. I've got about another 20 lbs. to go then I'll be happy.

Quitting WoW, helped with my weight loss alot, funny, but its the truth.

yeah, but I wish now I waited the two GOOD games I have I've already played on to death and beat the other, I might take it back still get a bunch of 360 games, then get it again at the end of next year

ok taco jelly . 500 bucks for a ps3 plus.. 5 free blue ray movies. ur not gonna beat this deal in 07 or maybe mid 08... only bad thing is there isnt many games out u cant get for ur 2 360s. thats the down side.donno tho its hard to tell ur best friend to spend 500 bucks so how i can i tell some1 i dont know? * crap think im on the wrong thread lol*munsoned

Hey, that's what i did, except my Wii is more for guests that come over. PS3 for BR movies and good PS2 games, i haven't played any PS3 games that interest me, including RFOM. Xbox 360 for all the great games it has.

Actually I have both hehe, so if my 360 coraks, i still got a ps3, and since most games now are multi platform, im just gonna snag the ps3 version since it has a MUCH lower chance of dying on me. Still, if it does happen, im gonna miss the hell out of Gears, and Halo (2 and 3)

I don't know about that, my X360 has been delivering some awesome games so far, can't say the same for my PS3 or Wii though.

I would only play the PS3 versions when your Xbox is being repaired, since most run better on 360 anyway (when it's working).
