Just got reviewed, that's a good score, glad the series going to a good direction as I quite like the first one.
Will get this one when I got the money.

very good score...I didn't like the demo but I might have to check this out ( this won't work with XP right?? )
That's exactly the score I was thinking it'd get. Curious to see what score the PS3 version gets though (it doesn't have one yet, far as I know)Skittles_McGee
why would it be different?

Yeah I played all 3 demos and I could not find any thing different about them.

I don't know. I just didn't see a score on it when I looked.A review of Just Cause 2 doesn't really need a score, or text to justify it. It only needs this:

a tad better graphics could be a possiblillity
but that would not warrant a higher score. just a minor footnote[QUOTE="chikenfriedrice"]

PS3 version allows you to record 10 minute clips which you can save to the hard drive or upload to Youtube. It also continually captures a 30 second replay. PC version will be able to do the same through third party software, has improved visuals and is modable to some extent. I hope Avalanche will incorporate some of the tweaks people have made into the console version through a cheat mode a la Keys to the City in Crackdown. If you've got a decent PC I'd suggest that version.Good point.whats even more shocking is that GS have a review up before anyone else. no IGN, no EG its crazy.

I really could not find much different with the graphics between the 3 version. I set the PC demo to max at 1080p res. Although it did bring my PC to its knees running around 20 FPS, but still the game was still playable. I was impressed the most by the scale of the game and how everything ran very smoothly.

Like the difference between 576p and 720p in Final Fantasy XIII? ;) If GS is going to score differently for graphics again, how 'bout they be a little more consistent. Fallout 3? Ding the PS3. Dragon Age? Ding the 360. Final Fantasy XIII? Nope, too big a game to ding anyone, same score even though it's one of the most obvious examples of a superior multiplat.Aye, I predicted as much. Now where is the PC review? :xStevo_the_gamerSerious question: what's with the "aye" and "thee" and "thou shalt" stuff?

I'm going on a limb and saying he's trying to talk like Morrigan (Dragon Age). Now why Stevo wants to imitate a woman is anyone's guess >_>
I personally didn't quite get the whole negativity towards the demo. I could understand if some gamers were just simply sick of blowing crap up, or if they found the game to be shallow, but the game makes no mistake on what it's trying to do.
Hell, I've had more fun with the demo of the game alone than other fullblown sandbox games this generation. Hopefully, I won't find some of the mission quality to be as bad as Vanord states. That's mostly my problem with this kind of game--the developers don't always follow through with mission variety and creativity, despite all of the crap you can do ingame.

I am glad that Kevin understands what makes this a good game and graded it according to that, instead of just docking it for it's awful story, dialogue and loose shooting mechanics. When all is said and done, I feel he is about the best reviewer that Gamespot has.
This game is meant to be ridiculous and over the top with a cheese story that is simply there for lulz and to give you some objectives to complete in between exploring, being creative and just going nuts with the many options available to you. Therein lies the appeal with this one. A lot of bang for your buck with this game.
Great score. I guess I'll have to pick this up sometime. Perhaps this summer when the inevitable gaming drought hits.
Well this is gamespot :P But I dunno see what all the fuss was about, the demo was extremely meh for meZTGD gave it a 9.8.

Yes, I realize that, lol. I know that only Gamespot reviews count here when it comes to whether a game flops or not, but some of us do like to read more than just Gamespot's reviews. That is why people are always posting other reviews. At any rate, it is not a flop here anyway.:P

Hush you, I hate logic. Puts hands over hears *lalalalalalalal*How is it that this has been reviewed whereas Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver have not?charizard1605Aren't all pokemon games the same game with a few different monsters? How else do they put out a gazillion different games at the same time with a different color in the title? Just saying go look at past games to get your score.
