I don't see what microsoft felt was wrong with the original xbox 360 dash. I just downloaded this NXE garbage and I really think it is just a big waste. In no way does it improve how the xbox looks, it only makes it more difficult to navigate through things. I can't even imagine how many of these threads there will be when all the kids get home from school today and install this, this is just one big failure. The PS3 is headed in the right direction but the 360 just took one big jump of the diving board.XPrivateRyan22X

I don't see what microsoft felt was wrong with the original xbox 360 dash. I just downloaded this NXE garbage and I really think it is just a big waste. In no way does it improve how the xbox looks, it only makes it more difficult to navigate through things. I can't even imagine how many of these threads there will be when all the kids get home from school today and install this, this is just one big failure. The PS3 is headed in the right direction but the 360 just took one big jump of the diving board.

It's nice. The old dashboard was easier and quicker to navigate through but that could just be cause we were so used to it. The new one is the same except it looks better and things are organized better.Zero5000X

I actually love it. The dashboard is alot more interesting, and it feels like it has alot more options. The only gripe I have with it is, it takes a little longer to load some menus, but it is forgiven considering how many sub menus it has now.Tulak_Hord

Same here.  This guy is smoking crack if he thinks it looks worse than the old system.  Thats like saying Vista looks worse than XP.  NXE certainly won't change your life, but it looks waaaaaay better than the old system.  I dl'd it before I went to work and used it for like 5 minutes.  Its not hard to find stuff.  Its not the same as the old one, but its not hard to find stuff.  Don't be afraid of change!

...oh yeah, another gripe is I feel like my old themes have been wasted since some of the picture gets covered by the semi globe on the bottom of the screen. Oh well, I guess I should get two premium themes:cry:Tulak_Hord

It's WAY easier to navigate. Press GUIDE and go to quick launch... every game on your xbox is on that list and can be launched from right there. There is no faster way than that, its two clicks and a choice...

Also, the whole console runs faster, and with HDD installs, I don't have to hear my DVD drive spinning all the time. You are in the minority, it's a great update!!

I've noticed that it takes alot less time to bring up the guide when in the middle of a game.

Im loving the NXE. Brings a fresh new outlook to the 360.

The dashboard was fine how it was. They made "additions" to it, no matter how you look at it....its a win for XBOX 360 gamers.

Yep, just a new coat of paint to the same car is all it is. It does look good, though. I really don't understand why there were people actually excited for it other than the Netflix deal.

Its way better than the old Xbox 360 dashboard and plus it is easier to find things . If you hate it then go play games on the crappy PSN.

Xprivateryan22X is my 360 gamertag, add me if you want. Although I doubt I will be on much. I just really don't like the 360, its too loud and it doesn't feel like I am using a very high quality product. (back to my PS3)

If anything the installing games to the hard drive is the only bright side of this NXE, I noticed my 360 no longer sounds like an airplane before take off....
