You think gamestop of all companies would willingly refund all the revenues from the preorders instead of sitting on it to collect interest? This is the same company that kept their duke nukem forever preorders for over 14 years! And let's not forget gamestop is the defacto videogame retailer and they do get these type of news well ahead of everybody else. Sony is just following the long tradition of initial denials followed by quiet confirmation -- see psp revision, ps3 price drop, Fumito Ueda left team ico, etc. Also this news shouldn't be surprising considering all the recent drama surrounding team ico and its producer getting fired.

i can hardly believe i am even interested in games coming to ancient consoles in the 1st place.

everything that comes to the ps3 and 360 at this point that i am interested in is just a bonus.

It will probably get delayed a couple more years, but that was expected, the game is supposed to released for 5 years now and seems is not even at start of development

I think they would make an official announcement before they outright cancel the game.

I dont think the game will be cancelled at all, but given the situation.... it may be better off if it was cancelled. When the main mind behind the project, the main driving force behind the team is only finishing up the game due to a contract agreement, things have the potential to really suck.

Maybe he will care enough about his involvement with the game to ship the best product possible, or maybe he will not give a damn. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

This game is looking more and more like a train wreck as time goes on.It may not get cancelled, but I can't help but think there's more turmoil going on behind the scenes than Sony is letting on.Having the designer and the producer leave at the same time is not good.
