The boards are slow there it would take awhile, and people HATE it when you make help threads. You need a wireless adaptor to do it wirelessly. You can also use the included ethernet cable.OhhSnap50893How much is the adaptor?

Translation : Yea, you need the wireless adapter plus the wireless router. Or... just plug the thing in with a network cable. As it stands, direct cables are still superior in quality and reliability to wireless.Â

I just got a 360 today, I have a router, but it wont connect to the internet. My Wii and DS connect with full connections....and my room is right next to the room with the router....can you help? and what games should I get?Hyper-Chicken
Unless you bought that Wi-fi adapter for 360 you can't wirelessly connect to that router.
else use that RJ45 Cord (broad band cable) that came with your 360 and connect it to your router, have your internet 360 settings set to auto and that should do it.

Test Connection and see the results  ,
Then post again with details.
Your first mistake was buying a 360.KeyWiiThat was uncalled for. I don't go into "Need help with PS3 this or that" topics and tell them their first mistake was buying a PS3. You aren't doing anything any lemming fanboy wouldn't do, the only difference is that you are a cow. If you can't tell him where he can find help, what is wrong, or what games he should get, do not post in this topic. That wasn't even stating an opinion. That was just you trolling. Noone thinks your fakeboy acts are funny. If they were, we'd let you know.

I bought this used, it's a core with a 20gig hard-drive all for $300 canadian (360's are $100 more here), so no ethernet cable, strangley it came with absolutley EVERYTHING else. so can I buy a cheap 3rd party ethernet cable? and before any of you say 'OMG USED? HARDWARE PHAILURE LOLZ!' The guy who works at the store I got it from knows the guy who sold it there, he only had it for 2 weeks, but his wife made him sell it. So it's only 2 weeks and 1 day old, and I'm under the stores 30-day warranty, and I have microsofts 1-year warranty. So can I buy a cheap 3rd party or computer ethernet cable?
Any third party adapter can work with the 360, some of which won't even cost you 30 bucks. Even the old Xbox 1 adapter works. Just find it used. You can probably get it for 20 bucks. Maybe 30.
