just got my 4th RROD, now what?(read message too)

Due to the fact that most peeps who posted here didnt read the message, i suggest you do-

first i hadnt touched my systems for a week, now, just today...i popped rock band 2 in my 360, and guess what? RED RING OF DEATH!!!! error code 0102, GPU overheated, so dont even talk bout fixing it...i will have to wait at least 2 weeks(so i will miss gears 2, thnx MS)

but the problem is-

i do have a PS3, but i only have MGS4 and GTA IV for it... yes i know i do need more games for it, but games cost 60 bucks, and i dunno which is worth it for PS3, that i dont have for 360 already. LBP is coming out,

but i dunno if its worth my 60 bucks. so ima go to blockbuster and rent like 3 games, which should i rent

Why would you get that many 360's? If I had RROD, I would stop buying them by my second console. Wouldn't you at least stop by your 3rd 360?jjgamer03

Get rid of it, and perhaps buy another model. I hear the Elite is more reliable. And in the meantime, get Uncharted for your PS3.

Well it's free. And you don't have to give them a receipt when you're under warranty. So if you did somehow lose your receipt, you wouldn't have to pay $160.55 to get it f****** fixed.

That's what I did, and I got mine back in 9 days, but you need to take it directly to a UPS store before noon to get the fastest turnaround time.

I have a 360 that's almost 3 years old and never got the rrod i guess because i barly play it...i just use my pc.

no games on 360 really appeal to me.

At least you were covered. My 360 was apparently not in the 3 year gap even though it was two and a bit years old when it broke.

I had to buy a new one. If this one breaks I am either going to sue them or pay some hackers to sort out their servers.

Thats rough man, but I guess if you love your 360 and have a lot of games for it stick with it and send it to Microsoft again.

I'd advise to get MotorStorm 2, Ratchet and Clank, Drakes Uncharted if you want some good exclusive PS3 Games!
