Just played crysis for the first time..

Now i know why hermits bark at console gamers when they say gears2/killzone 2 have amazing graphics. its not even close lol. sold my wii and ps3 to get a gaming pc and it was worth every penny.

I will say though that the gameplay in crysis is not that great. its good but nothing really amazing. i wouldnt even put it in the same league as a well polished fps like halo 3 gameplay wise.

Only the multiplayer in Halo 3 is better.

The single player gameplay in Crysis is alot better.

Still halo 3 co-op with 4 buddies is always fun.

I actually enjoyed the SP for Crysis more than Halo 3. H3 was too short and not as great as the prequels.

The MP for Halo 3 was awesome, though, and totally outshines Crysis.

I'd have to agree with you entirely man. :P The first time i played it i was completely blown away, but the actual gameplay there really isn't that special. I prefer much less-technologically god like games like TF2 or Halo.

But hey, Crysis is incredible. I think it might be the first game released wheret he bland gameplay doesnt really matter because you're so taken aback at how beautiful and immersive it is. Like a shallow action movie. :P

There is a stench of jealousy/ignorance/ fanboyism when hate on crysis for no reason at all. Its technically superiar to anything that has been that isuntill the next best thing comes out.

Noone claims that is the best game ever, but it certainly is the god of graphics !

Why do people bash the gameplay of Crysis? It is simply amazing IMO (although I am only half-way done and I heard that it gets worse)

The nano-suit and weapon customizations are really cool. The levels are absolutely huge and can be replayed in so many different ways.

Find a good spot and stealth without moving, the recharge is much slower, running around with stealth is just dumb.

Why sell a console for a PC? You cant invite friends over to play with you on your gaming PC... Gaming is friend-oriented. If you game alone on your gaming PC, you are considered a lifeless nerdkrp008

i dont even think you own a ps3. The topics you make always bash the ps3, i mean always. You don't even give credit to MGS4, and use GOW in everything for your point..pathetic. only thing crysis has is the graphics which is awesome for a PC game, and a good single player. Bad online like Farcry

Camping with stealth doesn't sound as fun as barging in with guns blazing and making a jeep blow up while holding some KPA soldier by the neck. No, wait...I've experienced both, so I KNOW it wasn't nearly as fun for me. In fact, the stealth mechanic of the suit is one of the most criticized aspects of the game if I recall.

i kept my 360 but the wii and ps3 weren't getting used at all and nothing being released really interested me. i like the 360 a lot because its basically a pc with a controller and i've always been a pc gamer. lol why are pc gamers lifeless nerds? console gamers can be just as nerdy and lifeless except they have to play the inferior version of multiplats :D

i prefer crysis over halo 3... i remember me and my friend started getting mad cause in halo 3 when you enter a stage you just walk back and forward..every level is like that ...you must reach a destination then go back...it was fun but very linear and repetitive. I wouldnt even put halo 3 in the same league as crysis... for me halo 3 seems like a oldschool run of the mill shooter

To alot of pc guys, including myself, that's exactly what it is.

The notion that Halo 3's singleplayer 'better' than Crysis's is a bit absurd.

No Crysis is well ahead of it, especially considering Halo 3s singleplayer was exactly the same formula and inferior to its 2001 counterpart. And could be beaten in a few hours. Oh and the design flaws..... yikes.

Wii= i dont blame you there.

but why the ps3? most xbox exclusives go to the pc so why keep the console? Ps3 exclusives stay on the ps3. but oh well have fun on your new pc.

Crysis is a fairly good game, just not as good as I think its made out to be (and no where near as good as the gamespot review seems to think). Part of the problem is that I played through the game on Medium settings (Physics on high though), so I guess I was missing out on the games biggest draw.

Oh.. multiplayer = lame. Framerate was to unstable on my PC for it.

Forgot to mention.. the CryEngine 2 editor is the most fun part of this game. Hundred explosive barrels + tornado = win.

Yeah I played Crysis this month for the first time too and I have to say it has the best graphics of any game I've ever played. The gameplay is good to but not revolutionary.

personally i think its rather odd how people can call Crysis sp boring, not revolutionary, generic etc etc. Then hold games like Halo 3 or CoD4 in such high regard. Crysis offers so much more in terms of gameplay than any, Thats ANY console FPS out there. Why is it GS are wrong to award crysis 9.5 but are right to award Halo 9.5?

Crysis is a stunning game imo. I can understand some peoples problem with it and some are valid, most though are just rediculous.

To compare it to Halo 3, then say its SP isn't as good? That is just insane.

What as close to reality as possible? Its completely sanbox. Very few triggers but your own actions, you can take it at your own pace.
