Just thought i'd post this about Resistance: Burning Skies

I rented it from gamefly, Played it, beat it.. and its not even half as bad as all these reviews... its easily a 7.0... but anyway i wanted to post this link from gamefly's website. it's the ratings that came from people that have rented the game and decided to rate it. So far, its sitting at an 8.0

just thought that it might mean something to get reviews from the average joe who actually played the game vs. a professional game reviewer who may be 'jaded' by what they feel it shoulda been.

People who rent it also don't directly pay for it (or at least don't pay as much) while critics generally write their recommendations taking the fact that people might pay full-price into account.

user reviews are so notoriously bad and infamously manipulated that here is a research paper made for corporate types to read how to combat the dishonesty of them.

The problem out of it was the multiplayer. Couldn't even get into the matches on the first couple of days on it. Now they updated it after the reviewers reviewed it. Looks like Greg Miller and Chris Watters pulled a McShea.
