PSN being shut down was not because of hackers, Sony shut it down themselves to rebuild the infrastructure

What about them mentioning an external intusion? In the end, sony had to shut it down to solve the problem. They are still shut down because of piaraters. Im begining to believe that it wasnt attacted by a specific orginazation, but has been continuoulsy been hacked for produce. But I have no proof and i dont really care as long as it gets back on soon

This whole thing has gotten out of hand. People have spent their time complaining on forums and sites when what they could do is spend time with their family or get something done like homework. Yes it is very inconvenient that PSN went down, but the attitude that its brought out of people is cringe worthy. I understand if you are a Playstation Plus subscriber then yes compensation would be nice (maybe an extension on your monthly account by however long the service was down). Who knows, maybe when Sony shut down the network they may have temporarily shut down all PS+ accounts. But for everyone else, I think a safer network and greater security measures are compensation enough if they can pull this off. I don't care if its hackers or Sony is just using them as a scapegoat so they won't be blamed, but whatever it is Sony is working to fix it so a little patience shouldn't be that hard to muster.
