One of the reasons I went for ps3. I would of got an xbox if it wasn't for paying for online, wifi adapter addition 100 bucks. 299(xbox) + 100(wifi) = 399 so I just bought a ps3 because it had an extra "free" feature blu-ray.

When I was looking for a console 2-3 years ago the xbox slim didn't exist.

Wow, this is the most melo-dramatic Xbox hate thread I've ever seen. It's only a month, man; it's not that big of a deal. Unless you only wanted gold for a month.

And i made my account on pc a few days before so i could make sure my name was available. When i got my Xbox i hit recover gamertag and its all well and good.
But now i'm trying to find this "free month" that you get with xbox and it is nowhere to be seen.my friend told me cos i made an account on PC and recovered i cant use it.
Before i go off, is it true XBL users or is there some other way (without creating another account, i like my name)
If not. That is a major **** up by MS..
Just call up microsofts xbox line (on www.xbox.com) and tell them, they can probably give you a code over the phone, or at least tell you what your options are, and are usually relatively useful.

I game more on my laptop than my Xbox. And I'm just saying that he's pissed to the point of denouncing Microsoft over the fact that he didn't follow the rules to getting a free month? It doesn't exactly seem like a scortching issue.
