I prefer R1 over Halo. But R2 was crap in my opinion.I prefer Resistance 2 over Halo, but let's face it: you can't get more biased than LoT.

Yeah, I'm really not surprised. I got Halo over the Christmas break, and the graphics are totally underwhelming. Lots and lots of aliasing that I didn't expect. LOL @ all the bullshots that came out before the game claiming it looked better than Killzone 2, or the people claiming it was the best-looking 360 game (probably Red Dead right now). Still, awesome game.Hahadouken
actually that would be banjo kazooie, nuts n bolts :3
Not too shabby! Our analysis proves that Resistance 2 out performed Halo: Reach when in similar chaotic firefights. In addition, Resistance 2 seemed to spawn more enemies at any giving time without dropping any frames or a hint of screen tearing. Actually, Resistance 2 seemed to be v-locked at a constant 30fps and absolutely zero screen tearing recorded.
5:10 seperates 360 games from PS3 due to a lot of things moving in one scene.
Samples such as Killzone 2's Visari's Hammer and Pyrrhus Rise; Uncharted 2's Ch 13 & 21; and GOW3's Titans climbing on Olympus.
Ooh, all epic moments. Makes me want to go replay all of those.5:10 seperates 360 games from PS3 due to a lot of things moving in one scene.

All the article talks about are water effects, and frame rate, which resistance wins by like .3 of a frame? No draw distance, very little mention of textures, vistas, jaggies.tehsystemwariorIt mentions that R2 is locked at 30 fps and V-synced so there is no screen tear whatsoever. Take a look at the two games and you can tell the aliasing is better on R2 as well (meaning "jaggies" are worse in Halo).

We were fighting a losing battle, but Noble Team was pretty much giving the Covenant a mighty righteous pimp hand the entire campaign.5:10 seperates 360 games from PS3 due to a lot of things moving in one scene.

Not a real graphic comparison. And R2 barely beat reach in the frame rate tests. I haven't played R2, but think it's safe to say it's levels are no where near as big as Halos.

Maybe you should play it. Levels are pretty big.
Does this side by side video lend credibility to what I say about how similar the two games are, I think so.
Anyhow, yeah they both look about even to me, and it really boils down to which art style/ gun style suits you more. The FPS and tear difference is negligible. The biggest difference visualy was the water to me, very nicely done in R2. Also the amount of enemies did see higher in R2, but I don't know how much I count that towards graphics rather than game design.
Huh Halo reach is one of the best looking games out it beats Gears of war 2 in graphics and such but WOW what is this? ah well it doesnt take a rocket scientist to notice reach looks a generation better. (OPINION)
[QUOTE="mrmusicman247"]If I can remember correctly....Halo was never crazy about the graphics. mitu123Halo CE and Halo 2 were. Yeah, look at Halo 2...

That was a pretty epic level and felt like you were losing as well as lone wolf.... I mean noble team pretty much all die except for Jun....don't see how thats kicking covenant butt....I mean if you know anything about reach you know that Reach gets glassed.....[QUOTE="Hahadouken"][QUOTE="Bazooka_4ME"]

Kickinurass
I played both games and i rate a tie or even giving Reach the advantage. Halo Reach is the best looking Halo game ever made.
 why would they even do a comparison? its not like they are losing hits...all the people making stuff up to make them seem biased will still go to the site every time they do an important comparison to them.
*shakes head*

yeah, the Halo name gets it a free pass.
that's why Halo Wars was overrated by like 15 points on GS compared to MC....oh wait.
