So next to new IPs, I also like to make sequels. The point youre making however, is very good. With the first title of a new franchise, there are so many good ideas, so many things you want to do. Unfortunately, you cant use all of them in the game. In the sequel, you can use cancelled ideas from the first game. I do have the feeling most of those ideas are used when you reach the third game though and that developers only make a third game because the fans want it. Thats why I dont really see a Bayonetta 3 happening in the future. I am fortunate that I am able to create many games from scratch." Can't say I really disagree. On to Okami: "That question gets asked a lot and its something gamers clearly want, so if I am able to, I will definitely make it. But gamers want so many sequels, I dont even know where to begin." I just started playing Okami. I can only say it looks pretty. So, how about that? You agree with Kamiya? Has a game reached its creative potential by the 2nd installment? And what about Okami 2? It wasn't their fault they went to Sony, Microsoft, and multiple 3rd Party publishers to make Bayonetta 2 and everyone turned them down except Nintendo.
Okami 2 would be cool. The game definitely had some problems but it was still a pretty and fun game.

They didn't have much of a choice. We're lucky we even got a Bayonetta 2 so I'm not expecting a third one. It'll be funny to see if anyone here to try blame Nintendo owners about not getting Bayo 3 when we barely even got Bayonetta 2.

I am a huge fan of Bayonetta and am remarkably phsyched for Bayonetta 2. So a third one would definitely excite me. That being said, I think he's right in saying that making a third game just to do it and not because there's a creative need is not the right thing. So if he has no ideas for Bayonetta 3 then, sad as it is for me to say, he probably shouldn't make it.
I doubt it, because it's likely those 3 bayonetta fans are Kamiya fans. anything the guy puts out is gold and if he continues to make new IPs.. fans like myself will be very content. High IQ Kamiya fans aren't looking for cookie-cutter rehashes like your typical SW gaming sperg, and judging from your post.. I'm sure you're probably hyped for the next big first person shooter (a genre that caved in on itself years ago) title, eh?
