Platinum Games Hideki Kamiya has been quizzing fans on Twitter to find out which sequel they would like him to tackle hypothetically. He has given fans plenty of options in the Twitter polls he has put together such as a Okami sequel, a new Devil May Cry game, or Viewtiful Joe. Judging from the responses on Twitter it would seem as though a lot of people are after a new Okami title.

Just do new shit, Kamiya. Keep your imagination going. Don't dwell on sequels. PG's team is more than capable of delivering a solid follow-up, like Bayonetta 2.

O dear god, please no Okami, no Viewtiful Joe and please no Devil May Cry. I cant vote, Kamiya blocked me. He stated ask Nintendo to release Bayonetta 2 on PS4 and Xbox One, so i tweeted that maybe if Sony and Microsoft had half the faith in Platinum that Nintendo did it would have been. Guess he didnt like the truth.

I'd also like to see them do an Okami sequel, but Capcom will have to sign off on that, they're so desperate for money though they couldn't finance Platinum making the game without someone else funding it, unless Platinum has money of their own their willing to put on the line.

Okami was complete. There's no need for a sequel unlike some of his other games. We already got an unneeded sequel, Okamiden.
