no i wouldn, i would still laugh at the extraordinary waste on money, on possibly one of the biggest douche's in the music industry despite his apology at the awards ceremony he decided to be a complete tossser i still think he's a bit of an idiot and needs to come down to reality just a bit much as how i view most pop artists or any artist who forgot their roots.

tbh i would rather have nothing and more focus on the game which this expo should be about.Just seems like another silly way for people to justify the ticket price for the expo.

I'll give them the paintball thing thats a neat idea, but what in gods name does Kanye really have to do with CoD lol.

We would have a lot less bad music if we got rid of a few of them especially Simon Cowell.

And for the record i dont even like his music at all and his attitude just completely stinks but i guess they are appealing to their 13 year old lets blare rap down my mic cause im so hardcore crowd.

Yeah Kaney is a douche, but his music is decent, nothing great or mind blowing, but it can be listened to and enjoyed. But yeah, CoD trying to sell itself on only hype and marketing again, rather than the quality of the game. Off topic: Your name seems awfully similar to one of the guys I knew at my old clan named BS (BlackSquadron), heh took me back to the good ole days of actually having time to play games.

as opposed to the 13 year old who listens to paramore because they think it's better than rap crowd? i mean, 13 year olds are 13 year olds.

besides, i doubt many 13 years olds listen to much kanye.

Paramore's been a dying band since riot and tbh very average in their genre.

And chillax it was meant as a bit of humour

Didn't the last game use Eminem in the trailers? Clearly they are just trying to appeal to everyone using popular music artists.

Good music? I'm not gonna lie that i've ben out of the loop for some time now with him. I like his debut album, College Dropout, a lot. I hated his other two albums, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy i didn't feel it at all, a couple of songs here and there i liked.. but the rest, damn, sucked.

I've ben hearing some good stuff about Watch The Throne though.

A bad, casual performance for a bad, casual event about a very bad, casual game.

Blabla, you have like 2 entire days for gaming the hell out of yourself without sleep. Of course there's nothing wrong with relaxing with some live music from one of the biggest artists in the world right now.

His last album was rather enjoyable with memorable and humorous lines of attitude and swagger. Shame that--like every other Ye' album--a handful of songs overstay its welcome or has a rather inappropriate feature artist or a guest verse that happen to overshadow him on his own record.

I dont see what's the fuss? he's a solid live performer; what he often lacks with his rhymes in the studio, he makes up for live on stage.

relaxing and live music are definately 2 things that shouldnt be put together.A gig can be heavy going after a couple hours if your jumping about it can get quite tough down the front trust me i know i've been to roughly 100 gigs(from the modest small club to the massive arena stuff) in the past 2 and a half years and 27 (28 by tomorrow night after The Bronx/Mariachi El Bronx) this year alone.

And why would you deprive yourself of sleep for CoD thats mindbending.

you hated late registration and graduation? i actually find those two records to be leagues better than his debut, same with MBDTF. i don't know, maybe he's just not your style.

watch the throne is pretty hit or miss for me so far...

He has nothing to do with CoD, but it isn't unusual to have a musical performance in the closing ceremony of a thing like this. It's just like Blizzcon, which is likely where Activision is getting their template from.

Ah, the haters. ;)

I swear, if it were Kanye West performing at Battlefield XP, they'd all be:

CoD gamers = owned!

Sounds fantastic!

Merex760

Not really. Kanye is pretty terrible.

not really.

A bad, casual performance for a bad, casual event about a very bad, casual game.

Makes sense.

ChubbyGuy40

lol what's a "casual" performance? you sure love spamming the **** out of that word.

You hated Graduation?!

That's like...one of my favorite albums of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Nah but seriously, I love Kanye but I couldn't really care less about CoD

bobcheeseball

you hated late registration and graduation? i actually find those two records to be leagues better than his debut, same with MBDTF. i don't know, maybe he's just not your st yle.

watch the throne is pretty hit or miss for me so far...

It ain't no biggie, heh. I aknowledge him anyway, just strongly dislike most of his albums. I personally love a album by Nas called God's Son, which a lot of people do not like. But i like it a lot because it shows a lot of emotion, basically his moms died around that time and wen Nas made that album it was basically more of a dedication to her.

ive been hearing its ok at best. but then again im mainly a fan of the old school stuff myself...give me the 90's and late 80's stuff and im good...slvrraven9

Well, those are the golden age. Ageless masterpieces that which i'll bump 'till i have no breath left in my body.

But, there's alot of new material out there. I recommend you check out Freddie Gibbs and Killah Priest. They made some excellent albums and are pretty new on the block. Hell, i really like Lil' Wayne's Carter I & II. Those albums are well made, with good songs that i usually bump from time to time. Hated Carter III though.. and Rebirth is factually complete and utter trash..

of course kanye is nowhere near biggie lyrically, but his top notch production more than makes up for his subpar lyricism. the guy kows how to make good songs, and i love him for that.

i'm with you on god's son, that record is totally different that anything else nas has ever done. it's not his best but it's definitely underappreciated. book of rhymes is still one of my favorite nas songs ever.
