I got a Wii for christmas and I am debating on trading it in and paying the difference to get a ps3. I like the assassin's creed and fallout 3 (even though I beat it already) but I dont know much about the other games. I heard some of the controls on wii games suck, and it doesn't seem like it has many mature titles (I saw it had at least a call of duty and RE4 was cool). Any ideas? I don't know how sales have been for consoles for christmas, but I heard ps3 was sucking (I hope not) and that wii was doing the best. Any thoughts? I would scan the forums religiously but I am moving and don't have much time online!
I think you should save up your money and get a 360. The Wii might not have good ports but it makes up for that with 1st party support and good exclusives. The 360 has both good ports and good exclusives. PS3 just has good ports and Blu-Ray.
First things first. Play through SMG, Twilight Princess, MP3 and NMH. THEN sell the Wii for a PS3. That way, you won't have missed much. (If anything at all. This is coming from someone who sold their Wii towards PS3 games and never looked back or regretted it)
Has i have both systems, i would actually keep the Wii because of its MORE FUN FOR EVERYONE GAMES.,
OR if you are just looking to upscale your DVDS GO for ps3 blu ray, not that you would have blu ray disc originals coz of the SO MUCH EXPENSE FACTOR UNLESS YOU ARE RICH.Game well it has ONLY RAIN TO REALLY HYPE ABOUT.
Don't sell the Wii. You may never find another one. Just save up for a PS3 if you want one. If you just got a Wii now, you have A LOT of games to play first.

I think you are good with the Wii. The first half of 2009 look good to me...the conduit, madworld, deadly creatures and the new house of the dead game. Plus the new wii sports with the intruduction of the 1:1 peripheral. I mean, i love my ps3 and 2009 looks good for that as well, but i would still want my Wii.
