I don't get it, whats wrong with it? I'm not a fighting game player, unless fight night counts, but it looks good I guess. Is this one of those graphics complaint threads?

The extremely long wait time for the X1 to load things at the beginning, the lackluster art style, it just burns my eyes.

Killer Instinct is never going to be a hyper competitive fighting game. That may be why I liked it so much as a kid.

Both Maximillian and Acidglow, two prominent figures in the FGC said the game is one of the best looking launch titles, you just need to see it in person., As for the load times the they select characters and stage at 1:04 and they get in the game six seconds later, they end the match at 5:00 and are literally back at stage select 2 seconds later, so why you don't point out the long load times.

Nothing, people who've actually played it have had mostly positive things to say about it, especially the visuals, it's one of the best looking next gen games.

art style is the one thing i really like about KI so dunno where is the lackluster art style at.

Ok. I wouldn't be buying it anywho.

Might just be the contrast and neon like glow effects, just do not mix well with me, it's like the contrast thing in BF4 to me.

Fail thread with only "I don't like the artstyle" as evidence? This game has been very well received in all aspects so far except for the interesting business model.

The stream, which I watched live, was extremely popular, chat section was on warp factor 9, 0% hate even 10 hours before the PS4 launch.

So basically, cool opinion bro.

graphics etc are good..but the animations are utter rubbish..

Admittedly I'm not EVO-level in the FGC but the buzz has been great thus far. Got a great reception at EVO 2013 except for the 2 seconds the MS logo was showing at the beginning and end of their trailer.

Call me crazy but Killer Instinct will bring the HYPE to EVO 2014.

Load times... even they complained about it in the video lol.

And sorry, but contrast does not make a game look amazing, it makes BF4 look like it does on X1 compared to other platforms.

Watched the gameplay footage of IGN, and the guy from IGN was so happy playing it, he was really having fun.

I believe Killer Instinct will be a great game.

Killer Instinct looks a lot like Street Fighter mixed with a bit of marvel vs. capcom.

That's why I was confident the game was going to be great when they got Filthy Rich on board. The guy knows what the FGC wants.

Not a huge fighting game fan, but i dabble andi gotta say the game looks pretty good. I just don't like the laughable amount of characters at launch. I hear it plays very nice though. She b I ge ta one, I'll check it out.

I think it actually looks like a fun little game. My issues with the game arent so much to do with gameplay but the payment model and the lack of content at release. Also, I have a bone to pick with the artistic designer for Glacius....

KI is going to be great you hating and gonna be mad when it scores higher than all exclusives for the ps4 amazing art style no button mashing fast paced smooth 60fps

@AMD655: they were waiting for the microphones to get all hooked up. It doesn't take long to load, watch the other matches.

The graphics look great imo but I'm not excited by it. KI was never a good fighting game. It's like someone bringing back Bubsy with great graphics. Looks pretty but Bubsy has always been shit so who cares?

Killer Instinct looks great and most previews are very positive. I will likely download this after I've beaten my launch games.

Now MS, please reveal that Titanfall demo already!!!

I have no idea why this game is getting any form of hate, i personally played it and i loved it. Yes i can understand why some hardcore fighting fans may say it isnt as deep but you lot have to realize their has to be a balance between a game being deep and accessible right

At least the XONE has a fighting game. A pretty damn awesome franchise at that.

@SonofK: I saw it In person 3 times and its a 9 in graphics and always has a line around it. This game is good

Awesome, dunno where you find the fail in this game because everything about it looks fun, great, and it isn't another FPS.

I was under the impression that was the whole point of KI from the get go. Easy and cool. It had good, edgy graphics. Basically like 80% of moves were like back-foward-input. Combos were easy to do and combine. Combo breakers needed a bit of knowledge of the opponents combos for the timing but overall easy to pull.

This new one actually looks like it wants to do the opposite even if it fails at it.

Simple fighter for simple fanbase. What is problem. Western media will love this game also since all flash no substance.

I'm not really into fighters, but what am I supposed to notice?

This game may look better in person. But the camera is shifting and shaking way too much. The shutter effect whenever a character gets hit is painful to watch. Is there a 60fps video of it? It's really hard for me to judge the game based on that laggy video.

Knack is family game intended playable to all ages. What KI excuse? Tekken Revolution is deeper fighter and free.
