Preach on brotha!
no
The 360 will NEVER do 3D. And if it does, MS will charge 4.99 per game for the 3D feature. Fact.

Exactly, there's no contest. 3D is so like 10 years ago.I don't see the point.Sony's already in 4D.

Those cheap 3D glasses are a joke. If you want to experience true 3D gaming, the only way is with Nvidia.GeneralShowzerOnly costs a arm and a limb to use.

Yeah and Sony want you to buy a 3D enabled TV for $3000, and how much are the glasses Wont most of the new Sony 2010 TV be able to do 3D? And wont other companies do the same? And even if they should be that expensive the price will fall next year.
Those cheap 3D glasses are a joke. It's expensive for now, but it's not just a cheap gimmick.

Still only a fraction of the cost buying a $3000 3d enabled Tv ( all the 3d work is done by the Tv instead of PS3 in this case ) +glasses ( nvidias solution cost around $500-600)

It will get cheaper in time, besides this technology is like stereo audio, so cheaper solutions might pop-up and they will still work
I love kilsone2 but I could care less about any kinda of 3D, I think we should get everyone in HD before we start asking them to go 3D
If they make Killzone 2 use the Move, I will actually play the game.
I would love to play Killzone in 3D and with the Move, but I'm not buying a new TV. I might get a Move though.
Or Xbox Live Gold exclusive. The 360 will NEVER do 3D. And if it does, MS will charge 4.99 per game for the 3D feature. Fact.

Any console can have games in 3D. Even Sly 3 came with 3D glasses and let you choose whether to play certain parts in 3D.
http://thegameraccess.com/news/ps3/killzone-2-going-3d It's been announced that Killzone 2, along with LittleBigPlanet and a few other titles are coming to 3D this summer. I don't think this was posted before or confirmed before. =V By the way...this is NOT an April Fool's joke.Weird_Jerk
Woah Sony copies Nintedo being big story???
Atleast KZ3d will look better than 3DS games so grats to PS3 owners

how did Sony copy Nintendo?Virtual Boy. :PI just don't get why people are talking about this 3d as if it was the red blue glasses kind of 3d. I watched part of Monster vs Aliens at BB the other day in 3d and aswell as seeing Avatar in 3d and this kind of 3d is in a whole different ball park compared to the red blue glasses. I mean you just relax your eyes and bam, glorious HD content in 3d, those red blue glasses was in fact the gimmick, this new tech is the real deal. So please stop posting about games that used the red blue glasses, I've seen 240hz hd lcd's that looked more like 3d than most red blue glasses 3d content looked.
I believe you do, because they want money ^^I'm confused with the whole 3D thing. Would I have to buy a brand new TV for it to work? I've heard that you just need a TV with at least 120Hz. I just bought a new TV like 2 months ago so I won't be buying one for a very long time

Exactly...the SNES and Genesis had a 3D game as well. There's no real special power needed in order to display an image to run in 3D. PGR4 even allows you to take 3D pictures (requires glasses of course) but I think it's been proven that erglesmergle obviously has NO IDEA about what he's talking about.
anyhow, 3d is worthless until it's:
affordable
doesn't require any sort of glasses.

And the trouble is that the technology required to perform 3D renders them both mutually exclusive with a third factor: practicality. The only known methods of making a 3D TV without glasses is to chop up the horizontal resolution so that different columns are aiming at different eyes. And that just kills the viewing angle--no good for a home theater setting where people could be watching from different angles. Put it this way: if the technology was already here, we'd already be seeing it in theaters, where cost is less of an issue. The fact they resort to glasses (usually passive polarized glasses) tells me no practical solution exists yet and may not for some time. Please Log In to post.
