Killzone 2 And Socom: Confrontation Playable At E3

In a recent interview with GameInformer, Sony Computer Entertainment's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Peter Dille, discussed all current aspects of the PlayStation brand.

One question in particular caught our eye. When asked about Killzone PS3 and SOCOM: Confrontation's playability at the upcoming E3, Dille responded:

"Yeah. I think all the stuff you can have playable at E3. And then the one we've been holding back on is Killzone, so it's a good reason for you to come to E3, because we'll have some updates on that. By all means, you need to save something to keep people interested."

Take it how you will, but we're interested alright. Expect a blowout of information and impressions on tons of games, in particular Killzone, come this July.

Very excited to see what KZ looks like.

My guess: Close to the trailer, not exactly the same, will lead to many "downgrade" threads despite no massive downgrade.

Actually its been longer. They had been working on it just before they finished killzone for PS2. So more like 3 years.

nice i figured it was more then two just didnt know for sure. since development time has been so long hopefully it will live up to exspectations. i am not hyping this game 3A but i would love to see how it has come along now.

Go ask them yourselve if you dont believe. Its not like record all my sessions with them when i talk to them. The devs know me quite well from when I used to talk to them on their original board. Which is over 3 years old now.

too bad 70% of the reporters disliked killzone 2 on the show floor, but that is a good thing now the devs know what ppl don't like and can't fix that...i hope they fix the problems reporters noted, like the crappy controls and graphi glitches and frame rate stutter.LibertySaint

lol well damn, i must be seriously new to the internet if i've only read 30% of the previews of Killzone2 at E3- and here i thought i read them ALL and none of them ever mentioned any of those issues, infact, its more the opposite- smooth framerate amongst tons of action and easy tight controls and the graphics were outstanding. and to think that this game isn't coming out untill february
