Killzone 2 - Cheeseburger Bet

Killzone 2 has been shown to some degree thanks to E3 2007 and the footage released thereafter. It's time for you to pick a side in the great debate and make a gut call on Killzone 2. No nambly-pambly backing out either, this is a gentlemen's agreement of the highest order: the cheeseburger bet.

The bet goes as such - pick a side, will Killzone 2 score on Gamespot AAA, or fail to score AAA? If you bet incorrectly, you must make a video of yourself eating a cheeseburger, and post it to your blog.

It's quite simple - do you belive that Killzone 2 will score a 9.0 or above? If you do, accept the challenge by placing one of these nifty dogtags in your signature, and/or posting here. I will add your name to the bet roster in my blog (click my tag in signature to view, or my username).

If you believe Killzone 2 will score below a 9.0 on Gamespot, place your bet by placing one of these dogtags in your signature and/or posting here. I will add your name to the bet roster.





FAQ

1. Do I have to eat a cheeseburger?

If you have dietary restrictions, such as being unable to eat cheese, or unable to eat meat, use the closest acceptable substitute. All are welcome to participate, simply find a burger-substitute such as a Boca burger and eat that instead.

2. Do I have to make the movie to participate?

This is a bet in spirit - you are simply making a call on Killzone 2 early - so if you are unable or uncomfortable making a film and placing it in your blog post, you make take a picture, or if you cannot do that, simply make a blog post stating the outcome of the bet.

3. Do I have to leave System Wars forever?

Nope! We're poking a bit of fun at that kind of silly bet, this is only for fun. There are no real world consequences for winning or losing, simply a bit of internet fun.

Please stop hijacking the thread, place a bet on one side or the other, it does not matter where you get the burger from. You can get the burger from Wendy's if you want - they make a decent fast food burger.

Japan isn't known for good squad based FPS, this is like asking an american developer to do a good Japanese Roll Playing game. Japanese just don't get the FPS, and tothrow squads like R6 or Gears is just not in there vocabulary. Don't get me wrong they try, and produce some decent results, but it's like asking EA to make Final Fantasy. Killzone will dissapoint for anyone that expects it to be AAA.

Well I might be eating a hamburger, did they develop the original?? Played PSP version it's not like the original I know but it didn't reach my GS level to warrent a purchase. I might have just self owned DOOOHHHH!

Guerilla made the PS2 game, the PSP game, and are making the PS3 game. Only this time, on PS3, they have major backup.:twisted: About a hundred employees more.

If the present day Guerilla development team was an army of guerilla soldiers, Sony would be the USSR giving them weapons and vehicles galore to aid their war effort.
