Killzone 2 DOING GOOD Sales Platinum

everyone (lemming) relax Killzone 2 is doing quitegood it's passed a million and going platinum sony is very PLEASED with it's success :)

I know you would love to see the sales flop but sorry it's lived up to the hype in score and sales.

Killzone 2 sales hit platinum

It looks like Sony has some good news to share with us. The boys and girls over at Sony HQ just issued a press release announcing that Killzone 2 has reached the million sold milestone.

According to press release, Sony is quite pleased with the game's success and believes it will drive further hardware adoption.

"Following the revelation that Killzone 2 became the fastest SCEA title on PS3 to reach 500K sold, Sony today revealed that the critically acclaimed first-person shooter from Guerilla Games has sold over one million copies worldwide. The company pointed to the game as another example of an 'only on PlayStation experience," and noted that it will "continue to drive incentive for hardware sales throughout the year.'"

I agree that the sales are fairly decent, but seriously when there are 7 million ps3 owners in NA the sales should have been much, much higer as it is probably The flagship game of Sony

Killzone1 on PS2 was hyped as a Halo Killer though, by a journalist,and some cows ran away with that...you are a generation late. I already read a ton of cow bashing topics on that one, but they were funny.

when you combined worldwide sales and months yes killzone2 is doing good but when you go to the first person shooter country and compare its sales, its not so good

Broaden your view, the whold world is not just USA.

Besides it does not matter where you live, you are still enjoying your 360 no problem even if it came last in Japan, Europe, or Mars for that matter.

NPD is not the end be all view on sales. Sales from Japan, Europe, USA and everywhere else should measure the true success of a game/console sales.
