I was in the beta test for killzone 2 was you? and I dont agree with you there at all, after I played the beta for killzone 2 I couldnt go back to call of duty because it made call of duty look and feel like a ps2 game, graphics are gameplay are a standard above
..christ can this game look any better. It seems like every month they keep on enhancing the graphics. anyways im happy with the 2009 screens...its less purpleyer if you know what i mean.
This build is about 2 weeks old 2 so the final retail build will be about a month and a half more polished.Also there hasnt been one preview of the game that has said the gameplay was lacking so quit bashing.Scooter from 1up even said if the 6 levels from the preview build where released then he would score it a B.

looks fantastic..... cant wait to get the game and see it in motion throughout the sp campaign since i already had the chance to play the beta on my friend's ps3... This along Uncharted2 will be showing what devs can achieve with some work in terms of visuals on PS3...
You know, I liked the effects for when the skiff goes down from E3 2007 better. It had better fire effects and lighting. It looks kind of cheap now. I also liked the way the guy with the hankerchief on his head looked in e3 2007 as compared to now. He looks kind of strange now. I also like the "I can't feel my nuts" line better than "next time we're invading a hotel". Other than that, it looks amazing.
That isn't a big difference. Looks like instead of a brown tint they went for a green tint. Also, the guys beard is a bit more detailed. But how much better could it have gotten?

the way i see it KZ2 already looked amazing so its quite difficult for GG to improve drastically its visuals in such a short time...
i think GG are focusing upon slightly improving the lighting & maybe a few textures which would definately make the overall look of the game better... these are little things which probably will pass by unnoticed but they are still upgrades on previous builds..

i don't think he's joking, you all hated on halo 3 for being a generic first person shooter, and now are all raving about a generic first person shooter,killzone 2 brings nothing to the table that has not been done before (chronicles of riddick had a fps cover system).

ya I'm happy with the way the graphics have turned out,now as long as the gameplay is solid we can def have a AAA on our hands

Neah, the ones on the right looks SLIGHTLY better, the draw distance is better, or maybe that's the lighting? whatever could be both, can't wait for this game :D

Linked for the usage. There is a slight improvement in the graphics, but the biggest improvement in there would have to be the lighting as everyone else was saying.

I agree, it looks slightly repetitive. A bit like dead space. The enemies look the same, the levels remain moderately bland, and not really anything special, and the only real things I see are the looks i.e. the graphics.
I hope it will be a good game, just another game that I can have fun on. But I tend not to expect any grandeur in games these days...

Maybe it'll have little substance in single player, but I heard the multiplayer was fantastic.
