Please take your fanboy goggles off, I own a 360 and I say this looks better than any game on the 360 that has come out and that is coming out.

Yup, Gears of War 2 still looks better.

It can't be the champion if it hasn't been released. :P

Anyway yeah I'm amazed how well they could implement the very blurry texture's into the artstyle. I don't think I've seen anyone do that before. I definatly don't mean that as an insult to the game either, it really does fit the game well.

gears 2 will still look great though, and its great gameplay style will be good just like it was.

The only think with KZ2 at the moment are in stills you notice some jaggies, but that can be fixed by AA. sone textures need work but once again that will be done when they polish the game up.

The reason it looks so great is due to the animations, lighing, use of motion blur ect. though the majur factor is the amount of detail in the levels. Not one building looks uninteresting, they all have bits of rusty metal and scaffolding everywhere and its all interesting to look at, you can really tell that those maps must have taken AGES to make.

and the great thing is the gameplay looks good too!

Its not out yet. Graphics should only be judged when the game is out. Pre-release anything is a poor indicator.

and loved every sec :P

But see, to people saying Gears, Gears 2 may "look" better; but I think Gears 2 is not at all any sort of technical accomplishemnt. In fact, if talking in terms of textures, physics, animation, and ploy-count, Gears of War 2 is flat out ugly.

I have yet to see a console game impress me with anything other than a bloom overdose. This generation has seriously underwhelmed me.
