Killzone 2 to be a FLOP?

i dont get it, seriously, what it wrong with this game? dont say "killzone 1 sucked" bcz anyone with a brain or who understands the dev team went from 20 ppl to 135+, and the funds went insane, will understand that killzone 1 cant be used in this argument.

But all that aside, form what u "fanboys" have seen what is so bad about this amazing looking game that will cause it to get AA, or A?

-best console graphics (outstanding character models/detail/lighting)
-advanced AI (they react to the weather)
-variety of guns
-immersive storyline
-said to have Amazing gameplay, (simialr to COD4)
-Large scale singleplayer
-co-op
-32 player online w/ ****s and badge system
-trophies

so seriously where does this game go wrong? i has basically everything a good game should have, and then jumps the bar.

What was wrong with the first game? It was published by Sony. They said it would be the halo killer, so they obviously had great plans for it. It looked excellent, graphically, for a PS2 game. It was going to have online multiplayer which very few PS2 games had back then, and boasted advanced AI and immersive gameplay.

But it turned out to be a dull, buggy, very poor game.

Nobody knows whether it'll be a flop, its not a lot of info for it. *waits for 360 fanboys to tell everybody beforehand that the game will flop*OutlawStarXIII

What was wrong with the first game? It was published by Sony. They said it would be the halo killer, so they obviously had great plans for it. It looked excellent, graphically, for a PS2 game. The guns were great but the inaccuracy was annoying.

no, it gets bashed because its the sequal to a monsterishly crappy game. you dont see anyone bashing gears fo war, do you? No, you dont, and you know why? the first one was goty, and the devs dont suck. Now, if that were the case for killzone, i would be able to side with you on this. but it gets bashed because it hasnt proven anything yet.

Nothing's wrong with it for me, I'm just trying to give you a glimpse of what's going through some people's minds. Some had a lot of hope for the original, it's hard to regain all of that for a sequel. But yeah, nothing wrong with it to me.

now dont start that nonsense. the majority of cows were praising haze, laughing at everyone else because it was exclusive, many were hyping AA-AAA. As far as killzone 2, i have not played it, but from what ive seen it just looks like a watered down version of call of duty 4, with less textures.

Killzone 1 was great, at peak hours there are still 400ish people playing online ... thats really good return rate. It looked very very good for a PS2 game. The 2 things that stunk for me were the framerates ... graphics were just too demanding of the PS2 and the fact taht Sony DiD "label it the halo killer" and it wasnt ... but then again labeling anything a "_____ killer" is just stupid since the game shouldnt be there just to knock another game down.ColdfireTrilogy

Also, i dont see what looks so special about Killzone 2, compared to various other games. Yes that includes Gears of war.

I won't see a AA Gamespot score as a flop for this game , I see it more like an expected AA level game that has an outside chance at some AAA scores. If they can make a cool cinematic shooter and pull off fun and balanced multiplayer and do the best they can to polish the insane looking and ambitious game ..... then that is all I will really care about at the end of the day.
