Killzone 2 vs Halo 3 (poll)

*looks over at his Resistance fall of man box and wonders why people are still holding onto killzone.*

who actually says killzone will be better.

from what we know about halo. halo 3 should be better

Killzone isn't fit to polish Master Chief's helmet.

I'm not buying either.

All I can say is that the people hyping KZ2 weren't around for the first one, or haven't learned any lessons. It could still be a stunning game but hyping it as a "halo killa" after seeing almost nothing of the game is crazy.

At the minute I feel Halo 3 will hold on to theFPS seriesconsole crown.

Bungie has proven they can make a damn good game, Guerrilla hasn't. So I'll take Halo 3.PBSnipes

I still dont get the Hype behind killzone, HAVE YOU FANGIRLS PLAYED THE FIRST GAME??!! it was a pathetic excuse of a fps. sony shouldve canned that series long ago. Even Resistance is a FAR superior game.

Most Xbox players comes from the PC gaming and since 360 is the most hardcore console too. To PBSnipes: Yes, Killzone sucked but the terms are different now.Guerilla is now making KZ2 primarily for PS3,they have a 20million budget and around 120 people are working on it. And they have impressed us with their trailers. GTA games were bad in the begginning too, you know. Halo is the most popular franchise on Xbox and it has the rights to be it too. But I can't help the feeling of "was that it" when watching the E3 trailer. It didn't look that much better than H2 either.

Bigger budget and more people dont equal good game. And they gave you a fake trailer, and the new trailer did not live up to the fake trailer like it was said to be.

Halo 3 has 120 full time employed people working on it, I'll bet you didn't know that. Who the hell knows how much thier budget was, but have you seen how much Microsoft is pooring into just advertising this game? However, to your logic Halo 3 was still 'meh' to you, what makes you think Killzone 2 won't be 'meh' to you? I mean Halo 3 had just has many people working on it, and likely a larger budget, so amuse me to your reasonings.

wow this is so pathetic. You're comparing a game we've seen an inch of to an obvious megaton, we've seen again and again for ages now. We've seen and heard things about halo's online, multiplayer, co-op, vehicles etc, in length now. All we know of killzone tbh it's its great visuals.

this thread is a sad feel good boost for lemmings, who'll probably never own killzone, and who are such fanboys that they inanely believe that no fps could have as much depth as halo has. Btw ilove halo,but i'm hoping killzone does surpass it in areas halohas always fell short on. Namely story and atmosphere.

Halo3 vs HAze makes perfect sense, as we've seen both gamesin action in length.

i agree, halo is a proven brand name, and killzone sucked the first time around, i am a lemming and still must say that kz2 graphics looked sweet, but its all about gameplay and availabilty Halo 3 sept 25, kz2 mid 08. when they drop killzone we will still be playing halo 3 and also have new converts to it

Reasonable heads in the PS3 camp need to be saying this and reiging in the uber-fanboys and younguns! KZ2 has potential but hyping it up after the diaster of the previous game is asking for trouble. KZ2 has already pretty much attained AAA hype.

This is basically cows vs. lemmings.

Anyway, I'd take Halo 3.

I'll say this. See the trailer on an HDTV from an Xbox 360 and then say its a super downgrade. Infact the environments look remarkable. The only thing they changed was the masterchiefs armor and it still looks great.
