Definitely KZ2... don't get me wrong, I really like R2, but I've named many times RFoM my fav game this gen and R2 kinda stepped away from the RFoM feeling.
Killzone 2 for me. Call me a graphics whore, but just looking at the game you are like "WOW...." I mean playing online on Pyrrhus Rise, I have gotten killed so many times just watching the dust clouds people kick up as they run and the waves of dust that blow across the level. Then comes the satisfying shooting. Every gun feels like its tangible and real. The recoil is excellent, the tin sound guns make as they run out of ammo is awesome! KZ2 has the edge over Resistance 2. But you have to give a shout out to Resistance 2 for 60 player online and the awesome co-op game.
Both are incredible shooters but I give the edge to Killzone. Its the kind of game that you play and just think to yourself, "Wow, this game is really pushing the limits of gaming". Resistance is a lot of fun and packed with content but the scale aside, there isn't much technical flair to blow your mind. It has great multiplayer, modes and content, but Killzone is just one heck of a polished game. Lots of "Holy crap, that was awesome" moments.
Resistance in ever way almost. It has better story which is not hard since KZ2 really does not even have a story at all, better and more varied bad guys, more varied areas, better hero, better online, and so on.
Hard to pick imo, but i'll go with Killzone 2 because of better Single Player andcompetitive online. But then we can't forgot Resistance 2's amazing co-op, worth buying the game just for that imo.
I once said that COD4 is my favorite FPS but now KZ2 is, it is just.... so much fun, but also R2 has its pros that keep me coming back for more fun once in a while.
I love r2 and Kz2 they are both great great shooters, and the single player and multiplayer is great in both for different reasons. -they both are fps but they play different -r2 has a more jumpy quake/ut/halo feel to the style (not in looks but in feel) it's very fast and jumpy. A crap load of people up to 60 and very very frantic and fun. The single player I like in r1 and r2, i don't understand why people bash r2 sp.... it was epic. and the enging cinematic was insane!!! The problem is people just wanted history and the chick narriartor, but that doesn't make r2 sp bad , it had great in game cinematics and epic set peices. R2 co-op is like an small mmo in resistance instances...it's great and comp. is a pure blast to play! -killzone2 wins on graphics, game play was different than r2...it is more tatical slower paced, but even more frantic at times. I loved kz2 sp slightly more than r2. killzone2 mp is great , it takes elements from cod4 and tf2 and mixes them up throw in some betting and class combinations... I just wish all the classes were open from the beginning as i don't have time to level up, too much work and too many different games to play..and i like sp games more than mp ..so will play them first Both are great I love them each in their own way!
Without even playing killzone2, it has to be better than resistance2..r2's multiplayer is freaking weak..there's no way kz's multiplayer is as bad (i would hope)
