Killzone 2's Progress

I don't care how great the game may look.

Of all the hyped games out there, this game interests me the least. I don't even see how a game like this could be hyped beyond it's graphics.

Everytime I see a new trailer or gameplay video, the game just keeps looking better. Do you guys think It will look even better once the game is released? Let me hear your thoughts. Haku_Ryushi

Thats freakin' SICK. I was hyped for the game and i didn't even know that! My hype just increased by 50% dude lol

Stop dude. It may or may not rival Halo 3 but it does look pretty darn impressive. Just because the first one was a flop doesnt always mean the 2nd will. I think Killzone 2 might rival COD4 atleast IMO. Im not going to jump straight to conclusions like you do.

well it wasnt nearly as good, i thought, and ive always noticed a huge backlash on that game on this board and well, from everyone. I honestly dont think that KZ2 multiplayer will even come close to halo 3s multiplayer, but i was just saying anythings possible i guess

At this point, I could care less about the graphics being outshined by itself once it comes out. Give me an addictive gameplay and I'll be more than happy. Until then, I'm not giving this game any hype above 7.0 to avoid ownage :)

It seemeth obvious that Killzone 2's developers haveth concentrated mostly on the graphics. It mayeth look a tiny bit better, but believeth you me (why wouldn't you) Killzone 2 will pretty much look how it looks now by release...eth.JesusTheLord

I don't know if it will look better it looks pretty good now, Based on what we know now the only thing they need to do now is how good the controles and paceing is. If they are good then the game will be superb if not it will adverage.

What I love about Killzone is that no one is willing to admit that below the fancy graphics is a generic shooter with no substance or redeeming charatistic over the hundreds of FPS released today.

Personnaly, I see as the Crysis of Consoles, only far less impressive.

would you kindly tell us what should KZ2 have in order not to be a GENERIC shooter? or else give us an example of a non generic FPS game?

On topic:- I dont think KZ2 will look significantly better once released, I find the game to look absolutely fantastic for a console title.. But in the final game I believe there will be more locations/environments so it might give the idea of looking better with maybe a different colour palette in other locations...

I think the game will look much better too. Its always the final touches tht really make a game look good.

I hate how peiople use the word generic, becuse everything is. you have a gun, you kill stuff, point A to B, thats a shooter, thats what they all are.

COD4 = generic, best shooter on consoles so far
