no, this is just one of the disadvantages of MLAA as a whole.
it's an AA method that's similar to not having any AA at all (in terms of how much it consumes in system resources)
the flickering effects are also present when you use it for a PC game. the 6XXX series is capable of MLAA and tomshardware noted the advantage of having this AA method is that it's basically the same as having no AA on at all. but the disadvantage was in fact, the shimmering effect.
it also puts undesirable effects on text, but I'm sure that's something that can be altered by the final product.
By fixing it I didn't mean recode the AA setting, but like try to find a workaround to make it less visible or less present.If there was a fix, I'm sure Sony will be the first to incorporate it. But for now it seems like we're just gonna have to deal with it
