Killzone 3 looks worlds better than console Crysis 2

Just played the multiplayer demo today, my God does it look atrocious. Pier 17 looks like ass on top of more ass. The stage looks unfinished:( Skyline looks decent but I can't believe people have the audacity to say it compares to Killzone 3. I know 360 fans don't have any other games to hype but Gears 3 this year but cmon, Resident Evil 5 looks better than this game:? Killzone 3 looks miles better and plays better for the most part. Why on earth are people hyping this game. I wouldn't even put it in the top 10 of best looking games this gen. Im hoping the real game looks better because I'm highly dissapointed.

I played it on 360, what does it matter if the PS3 version looks worse or not? The game doesn't look that good at all on both systems. Use logic, even if there was a difference its minor. Its not a console to PC difference like you seem to be implying:roll:

I wasn't trolling, I was telling the truth, didn't mean to come across as trolling but what worthwhile exclusives do 360 have this year besides Gears 3? Theres nothing to really hype unless you like kinect games.

I did add to it, I showed how stupid it is to act like graphics are everything which your initial post showed. If people are so concerned about graphics they don't get a PS3 and KZ , they get a machine that can put out the best graphics the PC k thanks.

I've never played KZ3 in 720p so, I guess it just seems odd seeing it that way... I'm used to 1080p and to be fair, graphics comparisons should be in 1080p or 1080i when applicable.

Killzone 3 renders in 720p. Those 2 screenshots of Killzone 3 are direct feed by Eurogamer. That's how it looks. :roll:

people like the TC have no idea how games work. Resident Evil 5 can affford to have such detailed character models because it's so damn linear and small in comparison to a game like Crysis 2...with such draw distance and many effects/shaders/lighting going on. Killzone 3 looks horrid, IMO...the hair, textures/detail...even gears 1 looks better. The K3's STRONG points come from draw distance and many things going on at once on screen/effects! you need to take other things in consideration with graphics. KEEP THAT IN MIND! and yes, Crysis 2 plays like **** i don't fancy the look either. soapandbubbles

Not to mention Resident Evil 5 has non existent physics. It doesn't even have ragdolls lol. Res 5 is a last gen game in shiny graphics. It's lighting is garbage, also.

Oh yes, Gears 1 is SOOO much better... why not use Gears 3 as a comparison... seems to be a more valid comparison seeing as Gears 1 is from 2006.

That was in response to someone else that took my OP comment about 360 as an insult, I mearely said I was telling the truth and asked what 360 games are there to hype this year. My reason for saying that is the fact that Lems are hyping Crysis 2 like its an exclusive despite it being on other platforms as well.

I honestly am getting sick of graphics threads. as if graphics were the end all be all to a game. cows, lems and hermits do it constantly. *yeah, but this game looks better than that game*... really. And it's all about technical graphics, no one even mentions what they like about the art direction which is far more important.

obviously a great technical foundation is necessary and can play a part in making a better game, but come on, why do we go so far to put all emphasis on graphics on this forum?

Crytek Frankfurt, aka PC graphics king makers are doing the singleplayer and the difference from what I've seen is huge. So I'm guessing you obviously aren't buying the game, so wait for the analysis of Crysis 2 singleplayer on consoles and make your real judgement there.ocstew

I think KZ3 looks better than Crysis 2 maxed on PC (at least comparing both multiplayer demos). Crysis 2 is not the graphical masterpiece Crysis 1 was.

I firmly believe that this MP demo is not what we'll get in the final game. From Crytek's own screenshots and the leak, things like the hand look much smoother. Notice the hand. Also note the absence of the horrific bloom that's currently in the PC demo.

There's a big difference, PC gamers should hope for the best, this MP demo doesn't have the graphics of the final game.
