I truly love what GG has crafted here..this game looks phenominal! The controls seem waay more responsive than the first 2 killzone games..I liked the second games controls, but here it appears to be heavy but more accurate and snappy..can't wait!FurbyballistikThe controls do seem much better. People are playing online much more aggressively and with more speed.

So far, I'm impressed with everything I've seen.

What have they done to my KZ, might as well call it kill of duty, none of the weapons have any recoil, and way too responsive, too much AA, and i mean auto aim by that. Less players, unbladanced classes, the a
+wesome M82 only for medic, Machine gun only for engineer that is already way too overpowered, assault rifles headshotting targets with auto aim like a sniper rifle on large maps, it's a rocket launcher fest, turrets are overpowered, exos are god machines unless someone is in a turret, jetpacks have machine guns with infinite ammo and no recoil. Almost a corrider shooter, seriously.
For as dynamic and contrasty as the art style of this game is, the lighting is underwhelming. Warzone looks like an awesome map, though.musicalmac
Looked pretty great to me.
hope they acheive great balancing with the online. Please add the recoil thats im KZ2 and add a bit of weight to it. The game might attract new players but i have a feeling it will put off the old players if they can't sort out the balancing issues.
Well you can't expect a big jump. It's still running on the same hardware. KZ -> KZ2 was HUGE due to the difference of hardware.I feel like the visuals have not made a big jump. Not that they were not already amazing it just feels somewhat anti climatic.

Looks purdy.
Wish I was more into shooters, the only ones I've enjoyed have been the Modern Call of Duty's (I know, I know).
In any case, looks good. Im sure people will enjoy it.
I've become too addicted to this gameplays videos over the last few days and have myself marveling at how amazing this game plays and looks. I never got to play Killzone 2, sadly.
Maybe because of the controlls and unsatisfactory campaign, but Guerrilla has made me swallow those words with Killzone 3. Now way in hell this game should score less than 9.0
I can't wait to see more of it. The Turbine map is huge. You can get around it any way you like, find excellent shooting covers, sniping spots, etc. And some might disagree, but the graphics have definetly improved. It looks more redefined, sharper, and the Turbine map nails the warfare feel.
I have to fight for a beta code. Serisously.

actually... it has made a significant jump. They took out all that blur on everything, put in some MLAA to make it look almost jaggiless, and textures have seemed to have had a nice upgrade. All the weather effects are the best I've ever seen, all the while the size and scale of the maps have gone up. Lighting also looks quite a bit better. I think this will be the best looking console game for at leat 6 months. Not to mention the game itself is looking epic. I don't expect anything less than a 9 from anywhere.
I'm still waiting for variety in the maps look. Dark is fine but lets see something more playful
OB-47
this is killzone we're talking about. If you want colorful and bright go play candy mountain massacre :P btw they have'nt shown any of the jungle maps yet.

Because the game general tone is dark doesn't mean it could have a bit of colour. Colour would contrast with the dark to make an awesome pallete
The beta was good. Played exactly like Killzone 2, Expected. yet disappointing. And,is it just me or isThe Sniper alot of fun this time around? ZippySlappy
I loved the sniper but there is no bigger room for it in the snow level, I didn't play the other map yet.
I just love the controls now.

the snow level has lots of colors it really feels fresh but I don't like the KZ maps in one aspect they don't have a good place to camp a bit so I could check what's going on before proceeding to the next area, most of the times I got killed when I do that.

Two words. HELGHAST EYES!!!It's been done in all the previous Killzone I think a little bit more would do. The snow levels look great though

It still looks like Killzone 2.5 :P I can notice the no-blur, (MLAA is a nice touch), and pretty good weather effects (Not the best I've seen) But playing KZ2 and KZ3 side by side would be like playing Gears of War and Gears of War 2 side by side; you can notice the graphical updates, but it's not TOO different. Please Log In to post.
