there are a lot of u...>_> *looks around in disgust*
but whats with all the hate! because killzone had a CGI...only a brain dead freak would believe that was really..
killzone 1 was bad? so....it was badly made but people who played it will tell u it was good..(me and my mates loved it)
and the difference killzone 2 will have is no bugs or faults, with the new backing they got from Sony.
so whats wrong with people being excited about it!

like somebody else said...halo is amazing on the console..but nothing special on a pc. iv played halo 1 on the pc and i thought the campaign was below average and the mulitplayer was good but not special. on cosole i can see it being good....but for splitscreen timesplitters would probably own it completly. in my veiw best ever fps is farcry.
Blackbond
LOL, read my lips. Halo might just be another good shooter on the PC stage but as far as the console FPS go.....It is King. It rules over all other FPS from its throne.
And what do you mean Time Splitters would probably own it completly in splitscreen? Tell me what happened when it actually came out?
time-splitters 3...i just cant see anything beating it for fun...halo is to serious for split-screen.
i dont get what u mean..."tell me what happened when it came out"....if ur talking about sales thats just sad...and time splitters has a map maker! which was very awsome
Um out score it every where, get more awards, more recognition, crowned champion of console FPS. Time Splitters who?
have u ever played split screen? becouse then ud know non of the things u menstioned mean anything..the best splitscreen game iv ever played is mashed(ul have to look that one up:P)
.....and the bit where u said "time splitters who" is just dumb... - spell checker broke...
Yes I've played it on split screen. Everyone of my friends in college picks that freaking little monkey because he is so small and fast. The game isn't comparable to Halo by any means. Sure it has tons of weapons and tons of characters to choose from but the levels are uninspiring and there is a severe lack of vehicles. I had Time Splitters 2 for Gamecube. It was really good. I couldn't stand the game not having center aim though. That was its only fault. I own 2 for Gamecube, three people on my floor had Future Perfect on PS2 on my floor in college, but I haven't played the 1st one a lot on PS2.Â
I can't decode the last part of your post, but its evident that Halo is just in a whole other league then Time Splitters unless your name is the G-Man from GUFU. He loves that game :PÂ
^think that should make more sense... this will never end because its just taste. i like time-splitters...u like halo...
and me and my mates make a agreement never to choose the monkey :) this has gone sOOO of topic.

thank u for choosing to be a fan-boy...step right this way for a lobotomy.
Killzone was being made for the PC
than sony came and bought the game and the devs cuz they liked it
they made a crappy port to PS2 and the result was Killzone 6.9, great ideas, bad execution
Killzone 2 with a 120 man team and millions of bucks from Sony = good game

i never knew that....it explains a lot.
what makes KZ interesting is the way you move...it feels more real than most fps

:lol::lol: oh well its your opinion thats cool
Â
Timesplitter was only playable on splitscreen. Wonder how it would of been if it was released online multiplayer. I am not sure if you can play up to 4 players on the 1st one but i remember playing 4 players on TS2. it was fun for a while.Â

I'm pretty sure it had 16 player online and LAN games man. Where the heck have you been?Â
For the spammer typing "Daikatana," you do realize that game has no relevance to Killzone 2. There was much more problems plaguing that game/developers than Guerilla games and Killzone 2. They have their own engine.SergeantSnitch
I'm not spamming anything. Just driving my point, which everyone but you seem to have ignored. If you look closer, I do add another comment in the post.
Daikatana is fully relevant to the discussion, sorry if it doesn't sit well with you, and the problems with Daikatana most certainly were not because of the engine. The engine ended up being a problem because everything else was screwed up so bad it took them too long to release the game, which made the engine obsolete.
Â
Want to know why it's relevant? Because I'm reading people claiming that Killzone 2 cannot be bad because it's the biggest multimedia project in dutch history and has 120 people putting their hands on the game. The argument goes that so many people with so many resources cannot make a bad game.
Guess what? In it's time, Daikatana had a lot of people (even for today's standards, it did), and a LOT of resources (basically an unlimited expense account), and insane hype without much real reason other than John Romero's involvement.
Daikatana sucked. Daikatana was the biggest flop anyone had ever seen.
Â
Â
So my point stands in it's entirety.Â
The amount of hype Killzone 1 got and the result is the reason people are cautious about Killzone 2.Dups79
Truth. I am super-excited about this game because of the potential it has, the fact that I love FPS', and that the Helghast look awesome... but I'm hedging my bets. I don't think its fair to condemn them because of a single poorly received game, but its probably not a good idea to preorder until you see some real gameplay footage.Â
I personally think they will deliver this time, but I'm not confident enough that I would buy stocks in it or anything.
