Sure it looks good but the gameplay is soooo amazing
I give this game a 10/10

I have Killzone: Shadow Fall and think it's an okay shooter; it hasn't impacted me as strongly as Killzone 2 did because I've since played Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 on PC. I find the player count, which is only 24, to be disappointing, even compared to Killzone 2, which had a player count of 32. Also, the blur and haze seem to be overdone a bit. I give it a 7/10. I haven't completed the main campaign as I have no interest in doing so at the moment.
The single player leaves a bit to be desired, but the multiplayer is a blast. Can't wait for the horde mode.

LOL dat damage control over the previous Killzone Shadowfail sucks thread lol.
I have just registered because I have seen your recent threads and posts bashing play-station in every way possible. Have you even played kill zone to judge? I guess people get jealous and mad when the console they purchased doesn't reach their expectations. Not our fault you have to deal with most games in 720p. Anyway, i'm sure xbone will improve in time
I'd say it's tied with Killzone 2... which is the greatest shooter ever. only the jelly think otherwise.

He or she is the most pathetic fanboy/ fangirl I've ever come across. So much passion. So much rage. Just for video games. So sad.
@BluRayHiDef:
Whats your PSN tag, lets play some!!! Mine is BroknOath.
adrianst
added!
I will accept your friend request the next time I log into PSN.
Its good.
But seriously, no splitscreen campaign or botzone? Thats just Bullsh!t. They kinda ruined brutal melee too.
My problem with the multiplayer is that the maps are too damn small. After playing BF3 on PC, the maps feel so damn tiny.
I have it and think its average at best. The campaign is forgettable and there are plenty of better looking games on PC. I predict it will be all but forgotten in a year.
HAHAHAHAHA......Oh god please kid, the game looks amazing, but best shooter ever? not the slightest chance in hell.
Killzone Shadowfall is one of the greatest FPS games ive played in a long time....
That much I can tell you for sure!
LOVED the art and settings
Graphics are the best ive ever seen.
LOVED the open-ended gameplay.
I loved the fact you could tackle objectives in a non-linear order.
I loved the tactical abilities and options the Owl presented to the gameplay
When you get all the mechanics down, when things begin to click, and youre using all the tools at your disposal to take enemies out like a bad ass....there is nothing more exhilarating.
Killzone Shadowfall has such amazing FPS gameplay
I did enjoy the story too for what it was.
Echo is one of the best characters ive ever enjoyed in an FPS game.
The ONLY issue is that Killzone kind of stumbles down the stretch BUT thats clearly because the game was rushed to meet launch
Still, all in all, Killzone Shadowfall puts all these modern dumbed down current FPS games to shame.
Killzone Shadowfall is a thinking mans FPS..
Kizone Shadowfall is for sophisticated players.
Its NOT no dumbed down by the numbers cookie cutter Dead Rising 3/Killer Instinct/Ryse/Forza 5 game etc
Bottom line, the multi-player in Killzone is amazing...
And the campaign in Shadowfall is one of the greatest FPS campaigns ive played in a long time...
If Guerilla Games had more time to polish it up and make the last half stronger, then Killzone ShadowFall couldve have been one of the most revolutionary FPS of all time....as it is....its easily the best launch FPS ive ever played....
By the way, its a shame how under rated Killzone and Knack are
While xbone launch games are being over rated to hell and back.....sickening!

I'm curious, have you played these xbox games you speak of?
I really want some of that whatever the TC is smoking...And I'm sure even Crysis 2 obliterates Killzone Shadow Fall into 2 million asymmetrical pieces.
If anyone from GG is reading this,
Please dont get disheartened by the overly harsh reviews of Shafowfall...
Reviewers dont know shit....
A lot of gamers liked what you did with Killzone Shadowfall
Just eliminate the weaknessess, like weaker last half of the game, and too many spawning enemies at times etc
But I hope Guerilla Games that you can continue with the new direction you took in Shadowfall of more open ended gameplay, bigger more open levels, multiple routes, multiple ways to take out enemies, cool gadgets etc
All you have to do is polish things up more and turn its faults into strengths....
And take what was great in Shadowfall and improve upon it....
And then you can make a Killzone game that gets the credit it deserves and finally becomes the revolutionary FPS its always had the potential of being
One thing i would especially like to see is less spawning enemies. I know its supposed to be a FPS and all but IMO a stronger focus on smaller scale but memorable fleshed out encounters would be awesome....ala kind of like Last of Us etc
Really looking forward to the next Killzone either way. Sony will give GG another chance and GG will have more time this time since it will be post launch. With more time i firmly believe GG can finally knock it out of the park.
I mean for a launch title, Shadowfall is pretty damn magnificent as it is, so imagine what GG can do with more time and NO DEAD LINES??? *mouth drooling*
if you really wanted a decent MP game get a multiplat game like Ghost (really terrible but still better than Killzone) and the finalBoss BF4.
It's only okay so far. Looks pretty, but there's really not much to it. Just another shooting gallery.
All in all, Knack is the best launch game i have played...
Knack is suprisngly challenging, addicting, and very fun.
I really enjoyed the story too.
I hope Sony persues a sequel with Knack too.
The old school beat'em combat is perfect as it is....its timing based and skill based which I loved.......I liked when you had to get past an obstacle too....especially the stages that mixed obstacles with combat....i want to see more of that...
but when there is too much of anything it can become a little tiresome.
In a sequel just offer more obstacles, more exploration at certain times, and puzzles to keep the beat'em combat fresh through out.....then the beat'em combat can really begin to shine through inbetween sections....would add a lot...make sure everything is paced well....
Also just add more moves...
Oh and let us switch between metal/stealth/ice/fire Knack at will......
That would be awesome.....and especially if puzzels or levels took advantage of each stage of Knack and you had to decide which one to switch to on the fly...maybe even puzzles requring you to switch between them all....who knows haha...
But one thing i do know is that Knack has the potential to be an awesome franchise. Please give it another go Sony!
And what ever you decide to do im sure it will be awesome..
I know Knack can become a friggen awesome killer app kind of game
Im sure the launch dead line hurt it too.

LOL Killzone Shafowfall DESTROYS Ghosts and BF4
Every one should disregard your opinion
Your an idiot, the story was crap
Bullshit
Every FPS ever has had a shitty story....dont just single out Shadowfall.....only a hater or troll would do that.
Killzone Shadowfall in relation to other FPS has a good FPS story in fact.
Judge it as a FPS....
There really is NOTHING awful about the story in Shadowfall....its not as bad as a Halo story.....people are over exaggerating.....its just not anything amazing in general....but again, as an FPS it has a good FPS story....
@halosball:
Formulated opinion and reasonable? Hmmm You call Forza/killer instinct/dead rising 3 cookie cutter never really explained much on why but oddly enough the stuff you said that made KZSF so great have already been done in games and most of all you probably haven't played those xbox games.

Most FPS today take place in linear corridors.
Killzone Shadowfall has some very open big levels. Objectives can even be tackled in any order.....when is the last time thats ever been done in a pure FPS? Exactly
Plus Killzone has the owl and all its tactical abilities it offers, which seperates it self from the pact of current FPS..
Killzone is NOT like the current FPS of today, not in any way shape or form...
You must have missed where i made that point specifically and proved it several times in prior posts!
How convenient to ignore that and only focus on what i said about xbone games in the last sentence of my post
Are you that much of an offended xbot? Youre pathetic.
Look, Dead Rising 3 is just another cookie cutter generic zombie game and it is another by the books Dead Rising game....I dont need to have played it to see that in its gameplay footage....
Just like how Forza is another by the books Forza game etc
Killzone Shadowfall actually switched up its formula dramatically from past Killzone games
So you think youre poiting out some bit of hypocrisy too but youre not. Youre only pointing out how dumb you are and how much you lack basic reading conprehension.
Also,
My cousin did get an xbone. I refuse to ever get an xbone.
He has played all the xbone games...
And he played Killzone and Knack with me prior ...and guess what? He echoed the same sentiment....he agreed that Killzone and Knack were a lot more inspired, challenging, and fresh etc
He said that he could tell that launch xbone exclusives catered to the typical American douche-bro gamers with ADD disorder.......while PS4 launch exclusives(plus all those PS4 indies) catered to people with more intelligence and more unique tastes
I don't own a PS4, but I gotta' agreed that KZ:SF has been getting bad reviews a lot. Either the reviewers are stuck up jelly haters, or someone paid them to give the game a low score. It looks pretty cool, not sure about the campaign, but the MP is a blast I bet.
Actually what I LOVE about Killzone Shadowfall is the fact that there are moments of downtime....
Its not just retarded non stop action ala Call of Duty/Battlefield.
Gueriall Games did a great job with that and i hope they continue with that as well in future Kilkzone games (if there are any planned)
First 70% of Killzone Shadowfall has superb pacing for an FPS game
Your an idiot, the story was crap
Who cares? I have yet to play a FPS where the story is not crap.
