lol they didn't say it "plays" like COD, they said the way the bullets were flying around you feel like COD, but the actual CONTROLS are not like COD...lol you're just trying to get people annoyed with foolish comments, I doubt you even looked at the screenshots.

What we like: The presentation and attention to detail are key. The game doesn't look as good as the 2005 trailer, naturally, but it looks close to as good as any other console shooter. We'd say that currently Gears of War tops it, and a few other titles are on the same visual level, but the game looks extremely nice.
What we dislike: There doesn't seem to be much big picture stuff in here we haven't seen yet in other games. This likely has more to do with Sony being very secretive about the features at the moment than a lack of innovation in the game, given its importance to Sony and the company's hints at online features, but at this point it's hard to pick out one or two big things that will help separate the gameplay from what we've seen in other war shooters.
killzone PHAILS!!!!

FEAR on the PC looks amazing. But you will still get owned by the cows because the cow pen just got opened and the cowpocalypse is upon us with literally hundreds of them in other thread foaming at the mouth over some blurry screens.

No im not saying that at allIm saying that it could very well be the same case, i remember cows being the same right before the killzone release.....then BAM all the reviews started comming in and it was mass cow sucide
Yet again, 1up says GeOW looks better to THEM, whilst all the other sites say its on par, if not better in some ways than GeOW. everyone ignores the masses, and goes for the one rotten apple.Err gears of war wasd one last year at E3 as well(infact it was earlier) this doesnt show the PS3 anything, all its showing is it can proudce gears of war like graphics around the same time the 360 can
Also, you can hide behind GeOW all you want, but the fact is the PS3 has accomplished in a mere 8 months from launch a title that rivals, if not surpasses GeOW, a title that took nearly a year after launch to get out there. AND, the best part is, People got these impressions from ALPHA/PRE-BETA gameplay! OUCH!
