killzone2 beta looks ugly

anyone who call kz2 graphics king must be blind.

not mention pc fps, even halo3, farcry2 console version looks a lot better.

Killzone 2 will be flawless when it comes out. It will set the bar for how future console first person shooters should look like. Killzone 2 can easily exceed its AAAE - AAAAE expectation.

Those screen shots arn't really a fair way of assessing the graphics. Any game looked at like that will look worse.

With that said, I still stand by the fact that Killzone 2 is far from the graphics king. I think this game is far too over hyped for its graphics. However, in motion it looks very impressive and I would call it the animation king!

3~4 months to go! and the game looks good btw on HD and those screens mean almost nothing since they are off screen and it will be better after getting more polished by the "gorillas". I expect 8.5~9.5 score here on GS if you'd ask me...abuabed

Those graphics looks great. I can tell that the graphics alone will make this game awesome. I mean if they put this much time to make the graphics look this good, I'm sure everything else about it will be good to. Graphics mean everything in a game ! End of story.

People please stop complaining THIS IS A BETA. There would be lots of better images and videos of it but they are not allowed to post pics and detailed info. From what I've heard from people's respsonses the beta is amazing. I don't know if this pic has been posted yet, I predict 7 more pages of gears fans talking about how gears 2 looks better. This topic= fail.

this is a MP beta. they still apply polish to the game after beta. do you think they sit around in the offices doing nothing just waiting for the release date to approach? :roll:

Halo is an overhyped Metroid/Half-like wannabe.

Gears is just an overhyped futuristic Resident evil/killswitch

see how stupid that sounds? everyone copies everyone, if the ideas work. as long as it plays good and its fun. Both Halo, Gears, Hopefully K2 are and should be fun. K2 has a lot of great things going for it, not just great graphics, but a solid online system, great gameplay, animations...etc.

you should really get properly informed. This is multiplayer footage and beta's still get worked on, like the guy said above, they don't just stand their and wait 5 months untill its due out.
