Kinect contiues to disappoint

Remember the feature in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier that they showed at E3 2011 where you can customize your weapons etc....when I saw that I was pretty impressed....well I was playing last night for the first time and when it came time to see what this feature had to offer I had to get up off the couch set my controller down move to the center of the room just to use this clunky feature that with my controller would be much easier to use...what a shame!

This thing is only good for dance games and for pausing movies with my voice....and maybe children

I'm not saying I had high hopes for this as a controller but by now it should be be better or just give up

I was thinking about making this into another stupid debate thread, but it seems you used some logic, so it gets a pass from me.

I'd have to have expectations for Kinect in order to be disappointed. For now, it's just that bastard cousin of the Wii whose parents are related, kind of like all of its supporters.

I thought it looked cool didn't say it was mind blowing....but I would have to sit 3 feet in front of my 55" TV for it to even be usuable because I don't know anybody that would get up move to the center of the room to use this then go back and sit down and start playing again

played Haunt it's a horrible game....gunstringer was okay but on rails....Kinect Adventures is okay but doesn't recognize your movements all the time and it bugs out....haven't tried the voice feature with ME3 or Skyrim

It's what you deserve for even buying and supporting kinect.

I got my money's worth out of it...payed $150 had my girls friends shaking their asses with dance central and my neices and nephew play the game for a while they had fun but now it's pretty much wore off

Gun Stringer was decent....Kinect Advantures had glitches though for me

You cannot legitimately sell a broken product unless you're rich.

so you never saw your leg or arm go all crazy on screen lol and then not recognize you....I am pretty sure I am not alone with that not to mention the slight lag

Unlike Kinect, the Wii actually offered titles that made good use of the Wii controls. Red Steel 2, the Super Mario Galaxy games and The Legend of Zelda all use it to great effect. Kinect does not, at this point its innaccuracy and lack of support for any game or any well recieved games practically makes it an overly marketed Eye Toy for the 360.

Honestly, if they could make great hardcore games for Kinect that would be fantastic, but they are trying too hard and are neglecting the franchises people actually care about on their system (like Gears of War and Halo). Right now its too innaccurate, too undersupported, and its basically like the Move with a slightly higher amount of units sold and slightly more marketing, but equally useless for most of us.
