After watching all the quick looks on Giant Bomb.com the best "game" I thought was the Ubisoft workout software. That looked great. Everything else looked bad to sub par. Anyone else agree? Also here is the link to the quick looks. Watch them, they are very amusing. (You must click the "quick look" tab above the video).

Unless Kinect is a LOT more precise and intuitive than I think it is, I have trouble seeing it being particularly good for conventional gaming.

It's kinda obvious that it's not for conventional gaming....

Those were my thoughts. The Ubisoft fitness software was really great looking, and by far looks like the best Kinect application. While I have no interest in either. Dance Central, and the "fitness genre" seem to be the perfect match for Kinect and seem like they will be very well done.

Kinect Joyride is probably the one game that stands out as the most pointless and mismatched to Kinect. A driving game with no steering wheel. Just your hand gestures. No acceleration or breaking, just gestures to "boost". As the guy was playing it the best thing he could say was..."well...ummmm....it works I guess". It didn't look fun at all. Hard to believe Microsoft made that a standalone game.

Judging by the reviews, at least the hardware seems to work the way its supposed to. There are restrictions, sure, but when you look at the Move side, all the games seem to have problems even working properly--that's a hardware problem. I don't care about tests and whatnot. Software proves the hardware. And I'm not Kinect fan, but it is apparently doing a better job than Move.
