It is gonna be hard for Kinect to win. If it is not fun, nobody wants to play. If it is fun, well, get ready for some stinking people at the party. Imagine you have a group of people getting together at a holiday party. Playing Kinect can be exhausting after 15 minutes or so. People would getty sweaty all night long. Sweat makes people stink. Seriously, Kinect might just be the first game machine that can make people stink at a party. I guess if you don't want to stink up the party, don't be the first to play Kinect. That girl or guy you are interested in my not like you much because your Kinect smell. Perhaps it is better to wait till the party is almost over to play Kinect.
You must hang out with some smelly people, because I've played DDR and Wii for extended time periods with large groups of people for years and never had an issue.

Wii is not that sweat-inducing. If you play DDR and then leave the room, then it'd be fine. But if you get sweaty and still hang out in a crowded room, people will smell you after a while.

You can't play Kinect at parties since parties are know to be messy and Kinect doesn't work in messy environments. Kinect is for lonely people that want to look ridiculous.
Kinect is gonna be fun regardless thats what most dont get.

I don't think the footage seen on GS's own "Now Playing" looked very fun. In fact, the fun they had seemed to come mostly from seing their buddies being awkward.

Yeah, I know people who stink without playing games heavily. I think I may stink from just sitting there playing with my standard controller! lol The only real thing that might stink about Kinect is if most of the talented developers focus on it, rather than their usual AA stuff.I am interested in Kinect , but I'm more hyped about it for the voice recognition and hands free logging on. Navagating the menus is going to be pretty cool also.

At the bar/club where people are dancing all night and sweating much more profusely. No merit to this argument whatsoever. I think Kinect will stink up the party in a much more figurative sense.

Sweat contains phermones which communicate data about your hormonal profile to potential mates. Ask any couple that's ever gone camping. So, by this logic, Kinect may actually get you laid.
