For those who don't know what 32X was - it was an expensive add-on for the Genesis/MD which came out near the end of Genesis/MD's life cycle and increased it's graphics capabilites. Now Kinect doesn't do anything for the graphics and isn't such a failure but the parallels are apparent to me. Sega also advertised the 32X as the next best thing although the add-on failed to deliver. It had a very limited selection of games (mostly enhanced Genesis ports) and lasted only a short time. Kinect could get more games and last longer but it's obvious MS is trying to force it on core gamers. But do core gamers really want it? Judging by myself I'd rather see better and more original games instead of some forced gimmicks and perhaps a glimpse of a new console. So what MS is doing is really trying to shove Kinect down the gamer's throats.
